Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/ (https://www.jnj.com/The Manager, Data Product Management – Governance will support the delivery, adoption, and governance of data products across Johnson & Johnson MedTech Digital Solutions. This role will ensure data products are well-defined, discoverable, trusted, and aligned to business priorities, enterprise data standards, and applicable regulatory expectations.The position partners closely with business collaborators, data owners, technology teams, governance partners, and data engineering teams to translate business needs into clear data product requirements.The role will advance consistent data product practices, strengthening data transparency, and supporting balanced operating models enabling compliant, scalable, and business-relevant use of data.Key Role ResponsibilitiesData Product Governance: Support the definition, implementation, governance practices, including ownership, stewardship, controls, metadata expectations, and lifecycle management. Business Requirements & Product Enablement: Partner with business team members to collect, clarify, and prioritize product data needs! Translating business outcomes into clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and delivery-ready documentation for technical teams. Catalog, Glossary & Metadata Management: Maintain and improve business glossaries, data dictionaries, metadata standards, and catalog entries are searchable, understandable and consistently defined. Data Quality & Stewardship: Coordinate with data owners, stewards, and functional partners to define data quality expectations Multi-functional Partnership: Collaborate with technology, data engineering, architecture, privacy, legal, regulatory, and records management partners. Operating Model & Adoption: Support the development of repeatable processes, playbooks, governance forums, and communications to improve and sustain business value! QualificationsRequired Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field is required; advanced degree experience preferred. Required Experience: A minimum of 5 years of significant experience in data product management, data governance, data stewardship, analytics, business analysis, or enterprise data enablement is required. Preferred Experience: Experience working in a regulated environment such as MedTech, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or another highly governed industry. Technical & Functional Skills: Confirmed experience with data catalogs, business glossaries, metadata management, data quality practices, requirements documentation, and multi-functional delivery methods. Familiarity with tools such as Alation, Collibra, Jira, Confluence, Power BI, or related platforms is an asset. Leadership Proficiencies: Good communication, team member management, analytical problem-solving, prioritization, teamwork skills, with the ability to influence across business and technology teams. Required Skills: Preferred Skills: The anticipated base pay range for this position is : $102,000.00 to $155,771.00 Additional Description for Pay Transparency: Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
