Job Function: Enterprise Management Job Sub Function: Commercial Management Job Category: People Leader All Job Posting Locations: Vilnius, Vilniaus Apskritis, Lithuania Job Description: Commercial Lead BalticsLocation.: Vilnius, LithuaniaFull time job The Commercial Lead Baltics is responsible for leading the commercial organization and delivering business objectives across Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia for the full Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine portfolio. The role owns country business planning, resource prioritization, performance management, commercial execution, launch readiness and customer-facing effectiveness across therapy areas. It works in a matrix environment with Central Europe & Baltics regional teams, while closely partnering with Medical Affairs, Health Economics and Market Access, Finance, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Commercial Quality, Legal, HR and other enabling functions. The role requires a strategic, enterprise-wide mindset, strong people leadership, deep understanding of the Baltic healthcare environment and disciplined execution to deliver profitable growth and improve patient access to innovation. Key responsibilities Strategic leadership and planning · Lead the Baltic commercial strategy, country business planning, brand priorities, resource allocation and performance management across Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia for the full J&J Innovative Medicine portfolio. · Develop market-specific strategic plans with Central Europe & Baltics regional teams, adapting brand strategy to local market realities and key business constraints. · Shape clear business narratives for planning and reviews, including risks, opportunities, forecast assumptions, mitigation plans and key decisions needed. Portfolio and launch execution · Drive execution for in-market brands and launches across oncology, hematology, immunology and other applicable J&J Innovative Medicine portfolio areas. · Lead launch readiness and cross-functional execution plans, including value proposition, customer segmentation, stakeholder mapping, supply readiness and compliant customer engagement. · Partner with Health Economics and Market Access, Medical Affairs, Finance and enabling functions to support reimbursement, pricing, tender strategy, lifecycle decisions and mitigation of business interruption risks. Operational execution and performance management · Implement, monitor and adjust local field and marketing strategies to deliver business objectives and improve customer-facing effectiveness. · Drive monthly and quarterly performance reviews, covering actuals, forecast, business plan variances, key brand drivers, risks, opportunities and required actions. · Improve forecasting quality and transparency across volume assumptions, net sales, while setting clear commercial priorities for Therapy Area Managers and field teams. Customer engagement and commercial excellence · Drive Customer Interaction Excellence by improving coverage, frequency, interaction quality, customer planning, account planning and disciplined use of approved systems. · Monitor competitive dynamics and customer needs to adapt commercial plans, strengthen customer engagement and improve treatment availability to patients. Team leadership and talent development · Lead, coach and develop Therapy Area Managers and field teams to achieve business goals, strengthen leadership capability and improve execution quality. · Build accountable, self-sufficient teams with clear ownership of execution, decision-making, cross-functional collaboration and compliant ways of working. · Drive talent development, succession planning, capability building, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement and feedback culture. Cross-functional and regional collaboration · Coordinate closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Finance, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Commercial Quality, Legal, HR and other partners to deliver integrated country plans. · Represent the Baltics in Commercial Lead, Central Europe & Baltics and regional forums, sharing best practices and translating relevant regional initiatives into local execution. Compliance, ethics and risk management · Ensure all commercial activities comply with J&J Credo values, healthcare compliance requirements, HCBI standards, finance rules, local legislation and company policies. · Identify, escalate and mitigate business, compliance, supply, quality and reputational risks in collaboration with enabling functions. · Ensure commercial team members complete required trainings and follow approved processes for customer engagement and promotional activities. Future readiness and organizational development · Optimize commercial structures, roles and ways of working to reflect portfolio evolution, launch pipeline, customer needs and Baltic market realities. · Improve go-to-market models, customer-facing ratios, segmentation quality and resource allocation to strengthen execution, productivity and customer impact. · Drive adoption of digital tools, CRM discipline, analytics and new ways of working that simplify execution and support future growth. Education and experienceUniversity or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in business, life sciences discipline. Minimum 8 years of commercial, market-access or business-leadership experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare environment. Strong understanding of Baltic healthcare systems, reimbursement dynamics and customer landscape across Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. People leadership experience, including leading managers or cross-functional teams in a matrix organization. Experience with business planning, forecasting, launches, portfolio management, customer engagement and performance management. Experience working with regional or above-country stakeholders is strongly preferred. Skills and attributesStrategic thinking with strong ability to translate strategy into practical execution. Strong business acumen, analytical thinking and ability to manage complex performance drivers. Excellent leadership, coaching, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
