Within the Pharma Organisation Medical Affairs serves as the bridge between clinical development and the commercialization of medicines. The domain is increasingly focused on External Stakeholder Engagement, aiming to derive deep insights into unmet medical needs, treatment barriers, and patient perceptions of data. By synthesizing these insights, Medical Affairs shapes the organization’s overall strategic direction and orchestrates external Medical Engagement. As an IT Solution Architect in this space, you will support the digital transformation of how scientific evidence is generated, managed, and communicated to the global medical and patient community. The opportunity: Scope / (Content Leadership): Designs solutions that meet product requirements, business priorities, and enterprise standards within a specific Solution Context. Manages Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) and fitness functions. Documents and evolves the architecture throughout the product life cycle and aligns with the architecture community for governance. Accountability/Problem Solving: Solves complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions and exercising judgment based on the analysis of multiple information sources. Maintains the vision, roadmap, and current landscape for the solution. Assesses and consults on the impacts and dependencies of initiatives on capabilities, risk, and the application landscape. Creates Conceptual & Logical Data Models, Taxonomies, and Ontologies for the solution and its interfaces. Defines and drives reference architectures, patterns, and ensures Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) are appropriately recorded. Stakeholder Management: Explains difficult or sensitive information clearly and actively works to build consensus among stakeholders. Drives information sharing and exchange about the solution. Impact/Strategy: Develops and maintains the product's technology roadmap. Provides technical oversight, guidance, and consultation on specific technologies for product teams. Improves existing solutions, manages technical debt, and researches, evaluates, pilots, and drives the adoption of new technologies. Identifies opportunities to enhance value and business processes. Complexity / (Product Size): Operates primarily within the solution context of Scientific Communications and Medical Engagement. Business / Technical ability: Applies general and in-depth knowledge in different technology areas supporting the Scientific Communication & Medical Engagement Business Capability. Contributes to Architecture Practices development and mentoring. Who you are: Education / Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience 3+ years of Solution Architect experience Demonstrated experience designing business-driven, standards-based, future-ready solutions within a specific solution context. Preferably, with some experience in Pharma R&D or Pharma Commercial. Experience maintaining the vision, roadmap, and current landscape for technical solutions, and assessing the impacts of initiatives on risk and application landscapes. Technical Skills General and in-depth knowledge in multiple technology domains (e.g. networks, security, databases, etc. ) Implementation experience in major applications such as cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, etc.), Veeva, Salesforce as well as Agentic Platforms preferred. Proficiency in creating Conceptual & Logical Data Models, Taxonomies, and Ontologies for solutions and interfaces. Ability to define and drive reference architectures and integration patterns Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new and emerging technologies, including conducting vendor assessments. Additional Qualifications Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and successfully build consensus. Proactive mindset to identify opportunities to enhance value and business processes, improve existing solutions, and manage technical debt. Solid understanding of agile methodologies, including DevOps concepts preferably in a regulated environment What you get:Salary range 14,175 - 26,325 PLN gross based on the employment contract. Compensation & BenefitsThe expected salary range for this position, based on the primary location of Warsaw Grafit is 170’100.00 PLN - 315’900.00 PLN.
