In this context we are looking for a Warehouse Operator - Flight Hour Services (2rd shift) to join our team in Miami, FL. The FHS team in Miami supports the global FHS operations 24 hours per day Monday through Friday with rotation schedule on the weekends and holidays. This position is on the 2nd shift with the hours of operation from 1:30 PM till 10:00 PM. This role will support the inbound and outbound of the FHS doors. After 7:00 PM this individual will support the normal FHS operations with receiving, RO creation, order picking and shipping. This individual has to be willing to lift 10LBS to 100LBS constantly through the work shift. Willingness to work with a team, effective communications skills speaking with the freight forwarders, knowledge of spreadsheets. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM: Receive, Inspect, Record keeping, Storage, Pick, Pack and Ship all FHS Non-HAZMAT and HAZMAT materials in compliance with IATA regulations and operational guidelines on daily basis. Prepare shipping documents - Understanding and willingness to sign a dangerous good declaration on HAZMAT material. Detect, record and follow up on NON-Conformities Accurately input all FHS material information into FHS Systems (AMASIS) that are related to Receiving, Inspection, Putaway, Picking, Shipping and Scrapping Pick and process orders in the accurate priority sequence according to established performances targets; packing parts for safe shipment according to shipping instructions and applicable standard specifications (ATA300). ABOUT YOU: Equipped with a high school diploma (or equivalent) and paired with professional experience ideally as a Warehouse Operator, we are looking for a team player with the following experience, skills and mindset: 2 years of warehouse experience 1 years of experience using SAP or equivalent material/operations management software Ability to gather and analyze material management data for decision making using Microsoft Office Products and SAP (or similar product) based inventory management software Ability to successfully complete hazardous material training. Ability to successfully complete Material Handling Equipment Training Physical Requirements:Carrying: Able to carry between 50-75 pounds by yourself and up to 125 pounds two person carry Hearing: Able to hear to participate in phone and in-person conversations also able to hear sirens, alarms and other emergency signals. Lifting: Able to lift between 50-75 pounds by yourself and up to 125 pounds two person carry Pushing / Pulling: Able to push/pull items over short distances and on occasion. Sitting: Able to sit for long periods of time in meetings; drafting computer-based documents, sometimes with limited breaks. Squatting / Kneeling: Able to occasionally squat and to replace or retrieve items from low storage. Standing: Able to stand for long periods of time, touring vendor facilities, traveling and similar activities. Travel: Able to travel domestically and internationally sometimes on short notice and sometimes for long periods of time.
