Join Avery Dennison as an Extrusion Machine Operator! In this key role, you will take ownership of setting up, operating, and troubleshooting bulk roll film extrusion equipment to deliver top-quality products Key Responsibilities: Equipment Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain extrusion and material handling machinery per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Quality & Precision Control: Monitor gauges, valves, temperatures, and pressures. Conduct routine tests and inspect product dimensions using calibrated measuring tools. Process Optimization: Identify equipment abnormalities, analyze root causes, and suggest continuous improvements to reduce waste and rework. Material & Records Management: Load raw materials, manage machine controls, unload finished goods, and maintain accurate production logs. Teamwork & Safety: Actively support site safety standards and collaborate across teams to achieve shared production goals. High School Diploma, equivalent, or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills. Proven ability to read precision measuring tools accurately. Adaptability to handle shifting production priorities and short-notice overtime. Commitment to safety, open communication, and eagerness to cross-train.
