Position: TEST ENGINEERING TECHNICAL LEADER Meet the Team Global Manufacturing Operations technical team is responsible to lead the Manufacturing Partner towards high standards of execution, quality and process controls. Being Yield, Bone Pile, Capacity and Security the level 1 metrics. As a Test Technical Leader at Cisco, you will work with the Global Manufacturing Engineering team inside this organization. Your Impact · Lead the global deployment and transition of new test infrastructure and test platform. · Drive Manufacturing Test Continuous Improvement, evolution, and resiliency at global level. · Drive & collaborate with technical specialists on data analytics to drive business and operational decisions in various areas such as Manufacturing, Assembly and Test that improves manufacturing quality, improves yield, improves manufacturing cycle time. · Develop and Deploy security solutions across manufacturing sites, acting as primary GME engagement point for other functions pertaining to security policies, transformations, and deployments into manufacturing. · Handle application, operating system, and hardware life cycle management compliance. · As engineering leader, you will offer mentorship and direction for the distributed team of test engineering professionals. Minimum Qualifications: -Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering (or a related technical subject area) combined with 15+ years of experience within the electronics manufacturing industry and test-specific roles. -Responsibility for end-to-end test strategy, encompassing ICT to functional system test levels, while optimizing variables such as test time versus throughput, detection versus escape risk, and coverage versus cost to identify appropriate process placement. -Expertise in scripting languages including Python, C++, Java, and LabVIEW, supported by statistical data analysis capabilities and a comprehensive understanding of test manufacturing technologies, tools, and processes. -In-depth technical experience in high-speed digital interfaces (SerDes, optical, Ethernet) and complex telecom system testing, including the development and maintenance of functional, system-level, chamber, burn-in, and stress tests, as well as the management of golden units and test fixtures. - Proficiency in developing and executing test plans to drive optimization initiatives, leading multiple projects through established project management methodologies, and facilitating project closure through assertive, bilingual (English and Spanish) communication across local and remote teams. Preferred Qualifications: -Demonstrates a strategic and rresult-focused focus, underpinned by strong business acumen and commercial awareness, particularly regarding the management and development of manufacturing partnerships. -Maintains an accountable and focused approach by deep-diving into product design and code when necessary, applying a thorough problem-solving mentality to ensure exceptional quality and efficiency. -Exhibits high levels of organization and adaptability, with a consistent track record of influencing diverse cross-functional teams to drive and implement organizational improvements. -Possesses strong communication and social skills, facilitating effective collaboration across global teams to achieve results with a forward-thinking mentality and dedication. -Holds relevant technical certifications, with preference given to Cisco networking credentials (CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE) and an additional advantage for systems administration certifications such as Linux+ or RHCE.
