Then this opportunity might be perfect for you. • Job Overview: The Senior Sanitary Responsible will represent the distribution center before COFEPRIS and ensure regulatory compliance and P&G standards in storage and distribution operations. They will lead the quality management system, continuous improvement, and coordination with internal teams and logistics operators to ensure product integrity and operational continuity. As a people leader, they will be responsible for developing capabilities, providing coaching, and supporting team growth while fostering a culture of quality and high performance. • Key Responsibilities: Represent the distribution center as the Sanitary Responsible before COFEPRIS, maintaining current registrations, files, and regulatory requirements for operation. Lead and improve the quality management system by translating regulatory requirements and P&G standards into procedures, controls, training, and indicators. Oversee quality decisions and conditions throughout the operation, from receipt and storage to release, shipment, distribution, and product disposition. Manage deviations, investigations, CAPA, change control, complaints, non-conforming products, recalls, and quality risks, ensuring traceability and timely closure. Approve and monitor suppliers, customers, and outsourced activities, ensuring 3PL logistics operator compliance with controls, indicators, and agreed actions. Develop the quality team and coordinate audits, inspections, continuous improvement, and risk communication with internal areas and health authorities. Job Qualifications • Hard Skills: Solid knowledge of Mexican sanitary regulations and experience managing procedures, files, and requirements for COFEPRIS audits. Knowledge and application of NOM-059-SSA1-2015, NOM-241-SSA1 current, NOM-259-SSA1-2022, and NOM-251-SSA1-2009. Proficiency in SAP or ERP/WMS systems for inventory, quality status, and product release. Experience in good storage and distribution practices, risk management, deviations, investigations, CAPA, change control, audits, inspections, non-conforming products, and recalls. Experience managing outsourced operations or 3PL logistics providers in regulated environments. Project management, process optimization, continuous improvement, and waste elimination. English proficiency. • Soft Skills: Leadership with technical judgment, team development, coaching, and building a culture of quality and high performance. Assertive communication, influence without direct authority, negotiation, and effective management of suppliers and difficult conversations. Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and risk-based decision-making, even under pressure. Autonomy, integrity, cross-functional collaboration, change management, and execution with organization, urgency, and rigorous follow-up. • Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience as a Sanitary Responsible registered with COFEPRIS or direct participation in regulatory or corporate inspections and audits. Experience in multi-class distribution centers handling medicines, medical devices, cosmetics, food, or supplements. Certification, diploma, or specialized training in sanitary regulation, auditing, quality, validation, or risk management.
