The PositionThis is a temporary, fixed term contract The Opportunity: Roche Services Americas is one of the Roche Shared Services Centers worldwide providing Finance and Procurement services to various countries in the Americas region. Based in San José, Costa Rica, the Treasury Accountant reports to the Treasury & Accounts Receivable Manager. Key responsibilities include: Execute day-to-day activities according to agreed service levels and in compliance with sub-process SOPs. Coordinate and perform financial tasks, including daily bank posting, interface control, manual corrections, bank suspense B/S reconciliations, clearings, and posting treasury transactions. Conduct cash flow analysis, intercompany reconciliations, GL journal postings, FX revaluations, and other reporting activities. Handle incoming inquiries via phone and email in a timely manner. Proactively seek opportunities for cross-functional/cross-geographic collaboration and foster a open, supportive team environment. Support team members during peak workloads, participate in workshops, and propose process and system improvements to drive SSC performance. Who you are:University or College degree with a concentration in Finance, Accounting or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in finance and accounting. Solid understanding of accounting processes, Finance Shared Services, and related technology systems (e.g., SAP, BlackLine). Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills with proven ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet tight deadlines under limited guidance. Excellent communication and customer service skills with high integrity on the job. Business fluency in English and Spanish is required; Portuguese and/or French is preferred.
