The Finance Operations Accountant is responsible for supporting the daily finance operations of Pall China, ensuring compliant financial reporting, treasury management, tax invoice administration, working capital optimization, and government regulatory reporting. This role plays a key part in strengthening operational excellence, supporting cash management initiatives, and driving continuous process improvements across finance operations. This position reports to the Finance Manager and is part of the Finance organization, located in Beijing, China, and is an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Manage bank acceptance drafts, including receipt, endorsement, registration, safekeeping, maturity tracking, and risk control. Prepare and submit government and regulatory reports, including statistical reports, foreign trade reporting, and foreign exchange reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Support fiscal subsidy applications by coordinating internal data collection, preparing application documentation, and liaising with government authorities. Manage foreign currency collection and payment documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements. Analyze and monitor Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) performance, partnering with Procurement to identify working capital improvement opportunities. Administer VAT invoice verification, maintenance, and related tax documentation to ensure compliant invoice management. Support treasury and banking activities across China and Hong Kong, including cash monitoring, online banking administration, and banking authorization management. Coordinate dealer financing program administration and communication among banks, business teams, and internal stakeholders. Participate in cash planning, cash flow forecasting, and dividend distribution processes to improve cash utilization efficiency. Collaborate closely with the Malaysia-based Central Finance Services (CFS) team to support accounts payable, travel and expense, and related finance operations activities. Support travel and expense process enhancements through employee education, issue resolution, and policy communication. Assist with internal and external audits, including documentation preparation, reconciliations, and remediation activities. Contribute to continuous improvement of finance operational processes and internal controls. Perform additional finance operations and reporting activities as assigned. The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. At least 2 years of experience in finance operations or accounting, with solid knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and financial management. Ability to read and write English effectively for business communication, reports, and email correspondence. Experience supporting treasury, cash management, reporting, or finance operations within a multinational environment. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Power BI or other data visualization and business intelligence tools. Public accounting firm (Big Four Accountancy) experience.
