Job Description SummaryThe Activation Director, Command Center Solutions leads complex healthcare consulting and technology implementation engagements designed to improve operational, clinical, financial, and patient outcomes for health systems. This role owns senior-level client delivery across Command Center activation, operational transformation, workflow redesign, analytics adoption, change management, and value realization. The Director combines healthcare operations expertise, structured problem-solving, executive-level client engagement, and cross-functional leadership to drive successful adoption of AI-enabled operational solutions and measurable client impact. Job DescriptionAbout the Role This role works across a portfolio of healthcare transformation engagements, partnering with health system executives, operational leaders, care teams, and GE HealthCare teams spanning Product, Engineering, Analytics, Data Integration, Program Management, Commercial, and Design. The Director connects client priorities with delivery plans, operating models, analytics requirements, product capabilities, and adoption strategies while balancing scope, resources, timelines, risks, and business objectives across multiple health systems. What You Will Do Lead complex Command Center and healthcare transformation engagements, serving as a senior client-facing delivery leader and trusted advisor while driving quality, consistency, client satisfaction, adoption, and measurable impact. Advise health system leaders on operational transformation, including patient flow, capacity management, care coordination, workforce optimization, operational governance, performance improvement, and clinical operations; facilitate executive and cross-functional working sessions to support alignment, decision-making, and adoption. Drive deployment and adoption of AI-enabled healthcare solutions across multiple client engagements, balancing competing priorities, timelines, scope, and resources; set delivery standards, review plans, address difficult conversations related to risks, scope, and barriers, and intervene when programs are at risk. Design and guide future-state operating approaches, including workflows, role definitions, operating mechanisms, governance structures, implementation plans, transformation roadmaps, and adoption strategies that support on-time, on-budget, outcome-driven delivery. Translate client needs into actionable analytics and product inputs by partnering with Analytics, Product, Engineering, Design, and Data Integration teams on product requirements, analytical use cases, feature enhancements, analytics validation, workflow alignment, and product readiness for client adoption. Represent the Voice of the Customer for AI-enabled products, providing structured feedback on model performance, workflow integration, explainability, and user adoption; identify opportunities to improve Command Center capabilities, AI-enabled operational tools, analytics-driven decision support, pilots, innovation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. Lead, coach, and develop consulting and cross-functional delivery talent, including consultants, senior consultants, managers, analysts, and delivery team members; establish clarity around roles, expectations, deliverables, and performance standards while building capability in healthcare operations, consulting delivery, client engagement, analytics interpretation, and change management. Strengthen client and business outcomes by supporting strategic accounts and complex engagements, monitoring engagement performance, resource needs, risks, and financial considerations, and contributing to client retention, expansion opportunities, referenceability, proposal development, revenue growth, business cases, value realization narratives, executive presentations, and other client-ready materials. Drive cross-functional alignment and scalable delivery practices by connecting client priorities, delivery plans, product capabilities, and business objectives; contribute to delivery methodologies, best practices, tools, and standards, and represent the organization in client forums, operational workshops, internal strategy discussions, and select thought leadership opportunities. Required Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree. 8+ years of progressive experience in healthcare consulting, hospital operations, healthcare technology implementation, operational transformation, analytics consulting, or a related field. Demonstrated experience leading complex client-facing engagements in healthcare or acute care hospital environments. Healthcare Operations and Transformation Strong understanding of patient flow, capacity management, hospital operations, care coordination, performance improvement, and clinical operations. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders across client and internal organizations. Executive Client Leadership and Communication Demonstrated ability to facilitate executive discussions, synthesize complex information, and develop actionable recommendations. Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and facilitation skills. Experience developing executive-level presentations, client-ready deliverables, implementation plans, and transformation roadmaps. Analytics and Problem-Solving Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and translate findings into operational action. Travel Ability to travel regularly, up to 60%, to client sites as needed. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, Engineering, Analytics, Nursing, or a related field. Experience with Command Center, digital operations centers, capacity command platforms, or healthcare operational technology solutions. Experience with healthcare analytics, predictive analytics, simulation modeling, workflow optimization, or AI-enabled operational tools. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, change management, operational excellence, or process improvement methodologies. Experience managing or mentoring consulting teams in a client-service environment. Strong understanding of value realization, benefits tracking, adoption measurement, and client success strategies. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $156,800.00-$235,200.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
