The PositionThe Global Digital Hub growing business line within Roche Services & Solutions Center. Our main purpose is to strengthen the digital capabilities of Roche globally by supporting central initiatives with Social Media Management, Brand Support, Digital Publishing Services, Marketing Automation, Content Creation, and Creative Design. The Medical Copy and Content Team within the Global Digital Hub operates under the Content Creation Chapter. This specialized team focuses on generating commercial content intended for various digital formats (emails, videos, banners, infographics, websites etc.). Their work plays a crucial role in supporting the communication strategies developed by Roche's global and local business teams. The Opportunity As a Medical Copywriter (Junior Medical Writer), you will support the growing Medical Writing Team within Roche Services & Solution Centre in developing medical writing & digital content solutions for our business partners. You will be part of formulating and identifying current and future content needs and support different content creation initiatives. In addition, you will work with Senior Medical Writers to ensure the effective deployment of resources and tools to support and ensure that writing activities are conducted efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with the business needs. As a Medical Copywriter you will commit to continuous professional development and you will uphold the highest standards of scientific accuracy, quality, and compliance with all applicable industry guidelines, both local and international. As an emerging expert, you will: Engage in continuous learning and development. Participate actively in mentorship and training programs to gain comprehensive knowledge of Roche’s therapeutic areas and enhance medical writing skills. This includes attending workshops, seminars, and one-on-one mentoring sessions to ensure the production of high-quality scientific documents. Assist in writing and editing medical content for different formats/digital channels and platforms, including information for patients, educational materials for HCPs (slides, posters, speaker briefs and presentations for conferences), newsletters, medical reports/study summaries, and materials for use in public relations teams. Exhibit excellent writing skills and be open to working on briefs across various outputs and disease areas with internal support. Understand and analyze briefs by identifying key components and formulating relevant questions for clients. Proactively identify and raise potential issues with briefs that may affect delivery. Demonstrate high-level self-editing to understand common proofing errors and ensure client-ready quality. Accurately reference and create marked-up packs, ensuring the authenticity and authority of source files with clear, accurate mark-up and appropriate filing. Adhere to regulatory frameworks and research specific guidelines for accurate writing. Manage multiple concurrent projects across a range of therapeutic areas, delivering on agreed timelines. Monitor deadlines and ensure projects are delivered on time. Prepare content for LMR approval in VVPM (incl. referencing). Partner with the Creative teams to develop content. Proactively contribute creative ideas, concepts or suggestions to provide added value Exercise excellent interpersonal/communication skills for effective and professional liaison with the internal team, clients, healthcare professionals and other key stakeholders and to obtain comprehensive briefs and responses to queries. Who You Are We are looking for dynamic individuals who are highly involved and passionate about content writing. Furthermore, you have: Degree in medical sciences or similar. 0-2 years of experience in a similar role (internships or academic projects are a plus). Effective time management and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Collaborative attitude - working effectively across our diverse resources and business stakeholders, good interpersonal skills to work as part of a team combined with the ability to engage with leaders. Ability to interpret data, excellent attention to detail, consistency, clarity, and scientific rigor. Native-level written and spoken English, additional languages (Spanish, Italian, German, French) are a big advantage. Customer-service mentality & can-do attitude. Natural communicator and relationship builder. Experience with the standard IT applications, preferably including Google suite. Quick learner, passionate about technologies.
