Work Flexibility: Hybrid Join a high-impact global finance team responsible for ensuring the accuracy, control, and governance of inventory accounting across a complex international organization. In this leadership role, you will oversee a team of accounting professionals, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support operational excellence, compliance, and financial integrity. What You Will Do Lead and develop a team of 5+ accounting professionals responsible for inventory-related technical accounting activities. Ensure accurate and timely month-end close activities, including review and approval of complex journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and inventory accounting transactions. Oversee key inventory accounting areas, including goods received not invoiced, goods in transit, excess and obsolete inventory, costing, inventory reserves, and inventory-related assets. Partner with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and shared service teams to support financial reporting and timely book closure for a large and complex business entity. Apply and monitor compliance with corporate accounting policies and US GAAP requirements across inventory accounting processes. Support internal and external audits, including inventory-related control testing and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance activities. Drive process improvement, standardization, system enhancements, and transition projects to increase efficiency and strengthen controls. Serve as the primary point of contact for inventory accounting inquiries and provide guidance on technical accounting matters to business stakeholders. What You Will Need Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in audit, accounting, or finance. Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience. Fluent English language proficiency. Strong expertise in accounting standards Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Professional accounting certification (ACCA/CIMA) Experience with inventory accounting processes and controls Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, etc) Polish language proficiency Poland Pay Ranges: Poland: zł232.300 - zł387.100 PLN Annual At Stryker, we believe transparency helps candidates make confident decisions about their next career step.
