Johnson & Johnson MedTech Surgery provides one of the most comprehensive surgical device portfolios in the world – including Sutures, Biosurgicals, Surgical Staplers & Energy devices and Robotically enabled diagnostic solutions. Our aspiration is to treat the highest areas of unmet need through a full continuum of surgical treatments with products, solutions, and digital advancements. Key Responsibilities: Provide finance leadership and decision support for components of Ethicon’s gross to net reserve (~$600MM) Own and drive monthly and quarterly close process as well as business forecast updates as required Partner with J&J HCS (Health Care Systems), Ethicon Channel Management, Ethicon Strategic Customer Group Finance and Ethicon Commercial Finance to understand key business drivers for trends in contracting and distributor behavior Develop analytics to drive better understanding of EUS (End User Sales), NTS (Net Trade Sales), and Distributor Inventory patterns to track business and contracting movements as well as identify any potential risks/opportunities. Develop analytics to proactively identify price risks/opportunities impacting net trade sales and gross profit at a detailed level. Develop mitigation strategies to improve future impacts. Ensure monthly/quarterly journal entries are completed accurately and compliantly. Entries are booked at the SKU level. Ensure compliance requirements are met as it relates to quarterly closes, audits, business processes and conduct; work with J&J Global Audit and Assurance (GAA) and PWC as required Partner with commercial finance to continue to improve reporting to business partners, planning cycles, and communication of items impacting ASPs and data integrity. Qualifications A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required; An Accounting or Finance degree is preferred. A CPA, CMA, MBA or other financial certifications are preferred. A minimum of 3 years’ business experience is required. Candidate must possess excellent analytical, conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills while working in a dynamic, cross-cultural team environment Strong financial analysis, business partnering, team building, and influence management skills are preferred Individual must work independently, handle several tasks simultaneously, complete tasks on tight deadlines, and effectively take on leadership roles in various areas Strong working knowledge and understanding of US GAAP, J&J WWP’s, and J&J Finance standard methodologies is preferred Desire and drive to understand end to end process; root cause analysis and issue resolution are required Demonstrates an understanding of AI concepts and frameworks, including awareness of responsible and ethical AI practices, and has experience generating effective prompts to boost efficiency and productivity Position will be based in Raritan, NJ or Cincinnati, OH and may require up to 5% travel Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
