This position reports to: Commercial Configurators and MDM __ The Configurator Portfolio Specialist drives the development and adoption of digital commercial and technical tools, enhancing the end-to-end user experience. Acting as a bridge across Sales, Business Lines, R&D, and IS, the role translates business needs into actionable solutions, manages tool development, and ensures alignment across stakeholders. It also promotes continuous improvement and enables successful rollout through training and stakeholder engagement. working model : hybrid #LI-hybrid Preferred locations are Italy, Czech Republic or Poland. Your responsibilities Lead Sales Business Excellence digital tools initiatives to enhance customer adoption and satisfaction, with a primary focus on commercial platforms and technical promotion tools. Define user stories, oversee development progress, and manage testing activities. Collect and structure data from Business Lines and R&D to build and maintain the databases required to support digital tools. Place strong emphasis on designing, establishing, and continuously improving the end-to-end user journey across all digital tools. Define and execute strategic roadmaps by proactively gathering feedback from stakeholders and fostering a continuous improvement mindset. Collaborate with key stakeholders to shape and align strategies, translating them into actionable implementation plans. Act as a key interface between Local Sales Organization, sometime customers, and BLs ensuring alignment and effective communication. Collaborate closely with IS and other ABB Divisions to align priorities, provide guidance, and support the development of digital tools. Partner with the Training Manager to design and deliver comprehensive training programs and eLearning solutions. Lead the definition and development of dashboards to empower the organization and support informed decision-making. Qualifications / Experience Minimum 3 years of business experience with a strong commercial acumen; able to think innovatively and propose effective, value-driven solutions. Demonstrated ability to design and implement robust processes and systems, fostering a high-performance culture. Strong leadership and coordination skills, including coordinating geographically dispersed teams; excellent communication, networking and collaboration with an entrepreneurial and self-driven mindset. Highly organized, with the ability to plan and execute workload efficiently, working both independently. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, engineering or economics. Fluency in English.
