Location: Uniphar Group, Block 645, Jordanstown Drive, Greenogue Business Park, Rathcoole, Co. Dublin, D24 YD83, Ireland.Hybrid role: Office-based 4 days per week, with 1 day working from home. The role :The Key Account Executive supports the day-to-day management of customer accounts by providing excellent customer service, coordinating account activities, and building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Working closely with Sales and Account Management teams, the role helps ensure customer satisfaction, supports operational and commercial activities, and contributes to the effective delivery of products, services, and business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer & Account SupportAct as a day-to-day contact for assigned customer accounts, providing excellent service and support. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Support the Account Management team in managing customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction. Respond to customer queries and requests in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues where appropriate. Assist with customer review meetings by preparing reports, presentations, and relevant account information. Support the onboarding of new customers and help coordinate account-specific requirements. Maintain regular communication with customers to understand their needs and ensure a positive customer experience. Account Operations & AdministrationCoordinate customer orders and support the smooth delivery of products and services. Maintain accurate customer information, pricing records, and account data within internal systems. Monitor key account performance metrics and assist in preparing customer reports. Support the tracking of service levels and help identify trends or areas for improvement. Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and Commercial teams to resolve customer issues efficiently. Ensure all account activities are completed in line with company policies, quality standards, and customer requirements. Assist with administrative tasks related to account management and customer support. Commercial & Business SupportSupport the Sales and Account Management teams in delivering customer objectives. Assist with pricing updates, customer presentations, business reviews, and commercial documentation. Identify potential opportunities to improve customer service and highlight them to the wider team. Develop an understanding of customer businesses, products, and market trends. Contribute ideas to improve customer engagement and account performance. Candidate RequirementsApproximately 1 year's experience in a customer service, sales support, account management, administration, or client-facing role. Previous experience within distribution, healthcare, pharmaceutical, logistics, or supply chain environments would be advantageous but not essential. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Comfortable working with data and preparing reports. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally. Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment. There may be a need for face to face meetings in other locations, as needed.
