At Roche, we offer a hybrid work model that combines flexibility with in-person collaboration. For now, we require our employees to be in our offices on average two days per week. The specific office days may vary depending on business needs, such as workshops, conferences, town halls, team meetings, and other collaborative events. The UX Professional is a leader who owns the UX/CX for an entire product or service. In this role, you will lead complex initiatives, resolve ambiguous challenges, and cultivate strong stakeholder relationships within your scope. By seamlessly integrating UX into development cycles and utilizing human-centered design methodologies, you will actively shape the product user experience, drive robust, evidence-based recommendations, and mentor junior designers to elevate the overall user and customer experience. The opportunity: Scope Leads the UX/CX for complex initiatives, projects, or products from concept through to successful implementation This includes managing intricate features, overarching designs, and critical value metrics across all their constituent digital solutions and services, and serving as a key contributor to defining and evolving UX best practices and standards within a specific domain or product line Accountability/Problem Solving Demonstrates a consistent ability to navigate and effectively resolve highly complex and ambiguous UX challenges with pragmatic solutions Possesses and applies an advanced understanding of specialized UX capabilities, actively fostering a culture of curiosity within the immediate team, and guides and empowers others in collaborative efforts to tackle complex design and user experience challenges within their assigned scope Stakeholder Management Communicates with clarity and impact, articulating complex information and ideas to diverse project or product-related stakeholders with different viewpoints (e.g., Product Management, IT Leads, relevant Business Process Owners) Leads and encourages proactive conversations to share ideas, build consensus on actions, and align strategic direction for their assigned initiatives Proactively manages stakeholder expectations and cultivates robust, trusting relationships throughout the entire project or product lifecycle, influencing design and business decisions Impact/Strategy Recognized as a leader who confidently leads UX initiatives and projects within their area of responsibility Plays a pivotal role in shaping the overall user and customer experience for their assigned scope, directly leading to significant improvements in user satisfaction, engagement, and business value Actively mentors and develops other designers, fostering their professional growth, and contributes to the development of the broader UX community through consistent mentorship and knowledge sharing Complexity Focuses on IT products or low-complex product lines Business/Technical ability Independently selects and skillfully applies appropriate human-centered design or research methodologies (e.g., advanced usability testing, complex qualitative research) to drive robust, evidence-based recommendations and decision-making Proposes, defines, and rigorously questions UX success metrics relevant to their domain Consistently considers all technical and business constraints, exploring many solutions while articulating trade-offs and rationale Who you are: Education / Experience Extensive experience leading the UX/CX for complex initiatives, projects, or products from concept through to successful implementation Proven track record of navigating and effectively resolving highly complex and ambiguous UX challenges with pragmatic solutions Demonstrated experience proactively managing stakeholder expectations and cultivating robust, trusting relationships throughout the project lifecycle to influence design and business decisions Experience actively mentoring and developing other designers to foster their professional growth Technical Skills Expert-level proficiency in design and prototyping tools Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies and iterative design processes, seamlessly integrating UX into development cycles Expertise in skillfully applying appropriate human-centered design or research methodologies, such as advanced usability testing and complex qualitative research Additional Qualifications Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information and ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders with differing viewpoints Ability to propose, define, and rigorously question UX success metrics relevant to the domain What you get:Salary range 14,157 - 26,325 PLN gross based on the employment contract.
