Job description

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The Fixed Assets (FA) Intern reports directly to the FA Team Lead. The primary function is to contribute meaningfully in supporting the day-to-day FA operations of the organization. SAP Investment Management/Project Systems (IM/PS) functionality for the company, journal entries, account reconciliations, and various financial analyses necessary for the completion of the financial statements. The Intern will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining valuable insights and hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting.Ensure compliance with the Company’s financial policies/procedures. Coordinate and support the overall CAPEX workflow process to ensure CARs are approved and processed timely. First pass review of all CARs submitted to the site, including but not limited to: Verify all required data is included, e.g. vendor quotes, etc. OPEX vs. CAPEX recommendation (including corresponding policy). Review & preparation of any associated asset retirements. CAPEX Projects Setup in SAP. Month-end procedures and reporting requirements related to fixed assets and capitalized costs, including the generation of reports and the preparation and posting of journal entries. Build and nurture smooth communication process with all the team members and stakeholders. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation. ___________________Are you a MATCH? Education Students in 3rd or 4th year, majoring in Public Accounting, Business Administration or similar. Knowledge and Skills Some knowledge of Google tools (Sheets, docs, slides, etc) Interest in acquiring practical experience in accounting. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work as a team and learn quickly.
