Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, we are looking for an experienced DevOps and Quality Engineering Specialist to join our Industrial Automation Digital Organization. You will contribute to the development, deployment, validation, and maintenance of Edge, Cloud, and Enterprise applications across the software development lifecycle. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD, test automation, and quality engineering. You will work closely with Product Managers, Architects, Developers, DevOps, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure reliable infrastructure, efficient software delivery, and high-quality releases. The work model for the role is: Hybrid This role is contributing to Process Automation Digital in Bangalore. You will be mainly accountable for:Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated build, test, deployment, rollback, and release processes while supporting application deployments across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments. Design, deploy, administer, and maintain highly available infrastructure across Azure, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Docker, Kubernetes, virtual machines, storage, networking, and security environments, ensuring reliability, performance, capacity optimization, and production readiness. Lead end-to-end quality engineering and validation activities for Edge, Cloud, and Enterprise applications, including Functional, Integration, System, Regression, API, End-to-End, Performance, Scalability, Reliability, and Non-functional testing. Drive automation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across software, infrastructure, network, deployment, and quality engineering layers while collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring team members, and strengthening DevOps and quality engineering best practices. Qualifications for the role:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, Quality Engineering, or related software engineering roles. Proven experience independently managing and supporting production environments and mission-critical applications, with strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration, including system configuration, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Extensive hands-on experience with Docker containerization, Kubernetes deployments and cluster administration, along with exposure to microservices-based and distributed application architectures. Strong experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks, with hands-on knowledge of platforms and tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Playwright, C#, or similar technologies. Hands-on experience in Functional, Integration, Regression, API, End-to-End, Performance, and Non-functional testing, including testing REST APIs, event-driven systems, distributed applications, and performance testing using JMeter or equivalent tools. Experience working with Azure or other cloud platforms, SQL databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL, and exposure to time-series or NoSQL databases. Knowledge of networking concepts, including DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, VPNs, SSL/TLS, and container security is an advantage. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Experience with Python, Industrial Automation, Edge/Cloud platforms, or enterprise-scale applications is an added advantage.
