Join us and help run what runs the world. This position reports to: Production Engineering Manager __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the design, development, and validation of automation equipment and production lines to ensure optimization of cost, quality, and on-time delivery of products. Each day, you will participate in the conceptual design, POC verification, and analysis of complex automated processes for assembly, testing, and material handling applications. You will also showcase your expertise by collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive equipment from concept to mass production. This role is contributing to the Production Engineering function. Main stakeholders are Product, Process, Quality, Production, Digitalization teams, and external Suppliers. You will be mainly accountable for:Participating in the scheme design, development, debugging, and validation of automation equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful mass production launch. Conducting POC (Proof of Concept) verification for complex automated processes to assess technical feasibility, risks, and mass production readiness. Engaging in the design and optimization of non-standard automated mechanisms, integrating mainstream technologies such as sensors, machine vision, servo systems, pneumatics, and electrical controls into assembly and testing equipment. Analyzing equipment issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment uptime, stability, yield rate, and maintenance efficiency. Assisting in establishing standard documentation for equipment development, including design specifications, standard modules, debugging guidelines, acceptance criteria, and failure analysis methodologies. Supporting the design and implementation of equipment condition monitoring and predictive maintenance features in alignment with the company's digitalization strategy. Analyzing on-site equipment failures and anomalies to establish standardized mechanisms for prevention, troubleshooting, and closed-loop resolution. Continuously learning and building a systematic understanding of complete line development, automated assembly and testing, and equipment lifecycle management in discrete manufacturing.
