This Position reports to: Functional Cost Finance Manager Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory) In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide financial expertise to your assigned organization. Each day, you will compile and analyze various relevant metrics, identify trends and problems, and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions to improve financial performance of a specific business. The work model for the role is: #LI Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation business in Bangalore . You will be mainly accountable for:Partner with the Business Unit Controller to define and implement business strategy; convert strategy into measurable targets and business plans; assess financial implications, risks, and required actions; oversee business planning and forecasting; and act as the finance interface to the wider organization. Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, interpret revenue, order, cost, KPI and margin movements, and provide meaningful business commentary and recommendations to local divisions and management. Collaborate with the Head of R&D for complete R&D controlling, including resource and cost monitoring, charge-back / project review discipline, investment benefit analysis, and tracking of R&D-related costs and projects. Coordinate with local divisions & business lines; support accurate reporting under the PCP structure; provide a connecting point between PCP units, controllers, divisions and business lines; and respond to finance queries from multiple PCP business lines. Qualifications for the role :Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field; professional finance qualification preferred where applicable. 6+ years of experience in Controlling, Business Finance, FP&A, or a similar finance business partnering role. Strong knowledge of computerized accounting systems, preferably SAP, and financial reporting / analytics tools such as Power BI and Excel. Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, accuracy, ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver clear management commentary. Ability to work across local and global stakeholders, express different views constructively, and operate as a pragmatic and solution-oriented finance partner. Fluency in English required; additional European language skills would be an advantage depending on organizational scope.
