Job title: First Line Sales Leader Oncology Location: Riyadh Employment type: Permanent, full time Reports to: Oncology BUH Closing date for applications: 2 September 2026 Job Purpose Lead, coach, and inspire the Oncology sales team to deliver on our ambition for patients by driving a successful launch, sustainable growth, and strong business performance while strengthening GSK’s leadership, advocacy, and patient impact in Oncology. Core Responsibilities: Lead and coach the sales team, support their development, and help them realize their potential and achieve strong business results. Main the strong relationships with Oncology and Hematology key external experts and drive partnerships with public institutions and Oncology medical societies. Act as a role model to the team by exhibiting GSK's leadership expectations of courage, development, accountability, and teamwork. Be a change catalyst by having open, transparent communication and straight talk. Act as a servant leader who demonstrates a growth mindset and humility. Develop a culture of performance and accountability for delivering quality results within the team. Maximize the team's performance through the regular coaching sessions. Lead and follow up on the team's KPIs to optimize customers' facing time and propose the best structure according to each team member's capacity and area specificity in alignment with brand strategy. Ensure that all the team members get a fair opportunity for coaching & mentoring and that the time in the field is distributed. Conduct regular performance reviews to assess improvement and development versus the plan. Train and onboard the new hires and set them to significant uptake at GSK. Cultivate a network of collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure strategy alignment and streamlined execution. Accelerate and maximize the full access opportunity in the public sector institutions. Co-lead with the marketing team in the execution of P2P education, ensuring the correct positioning of GSK's medicines and customers' understanding of the eligible patients for our medicines. Drive the team and act as a role model in living the company values of integrity, respect for people, transparency, and putting the patient at the core of every decision in every interaction, internally and externally. Knowledge Expert in disease and product knowledge, market intelligence and patient focused selling model Lead a team of experts in the team to achieve GSK standards in disease and product knowledge Annual certification with full compliance to related SOPs, policies and local regulations for self and team Activities Meet GSK standards of in-field coaching KPIs Evaluate teams’ performance in relation to GSK’s Standard KPIs for efficiency and effectiveness Prepare a consultative coaching plan with every team member and conduct follow up sessions Ensure that market intelligence activities are executed effectively, and timely feedback is submitted for follow-up action plans Ensure that performance review discussions are in place and are followed regularly Develop a culture of caring for GSK assets within the team and optimizing the company resources Application of Knowledge Prepare and effectively execute the business plans aligned to medical & marketing strategies Meet the defined standards during In-field coaching Ensure all activities are executed in line with governance and compliance guidelines Ensure customer satisfaction in the defined territory Ability to establish the development agenda in line with team’s current capabilities. Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals: Saudi National A minimum of four years of experience in the Saudi pharmaceutical market A very solid track record of performance A pharmacist with a valid (SCFHS) Oncology/Hematology experience People management experience Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong commercial acumen and forecasting skills. Experience in new launches and driving public access is a plus. Excellent execution and project management skills. The role will be based in Riyadh with the requirement to be able to travel extensively across the Kingdom (> 50% of the time).
