Job Description: The Semiconductor Facility Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within a semiconductor manufacturing facility. This position supports facility infrastructure, production equipment, and construction projects while ensuring compliance with safety, electrical, and environmental standards. Requirements/Qualifications: 15+ years of comercial, industrial or semiconductor electrical experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and construction plans Support tool installations and equipment hookups for semiconductor manufacturing and facility Proficiency using electrical testing equipment and hand tools. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial equipment systems. Knowledge of Installation, maintenance, and repair electrical of systems including power distribution, lighting, motor controls, transformers, switchgear, and control circuits. Experience with electrical installation and connect conduit, cable trays, wiring, panels, and electrical equipment. systems. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility electrical infrastructure Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and work closely with mechanical, facilities, engineering teams. Follow all semiconductor facility safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, and cleanroom protocols. Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, local building codes, and company standards. Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms. Ability to work in cleanroom and industrial environments. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in confined spaces as required. Preferred Qualifications Semiconductor manufacturing facility experience. Experience supporting tool installation. Knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, and industrial controls. Experience working in cleanroom environments. Familiarity with medium-voltage power systems and critical facility infrastructure.
