Associate Product Engineer – Engineering Services - Cost Improvement Team Brief Job Description The Associate Product Engineer for Engineering Services - Cost Improvement Team supports initiatives that drive product cost savings and yield improvement. The role involves assisting in yield analysis, product characterization, qualification activities, test program enhancements, and manufacturing process improvements. Working closely with Product, Test, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineering teams, the Associate Product Engineer helps identify opportunities to improve product yields, reduce manufacturing costs, optimize test time, and support product and process changes that contribute to overall factory cost reduction. Qualifications Graduate of BS Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering discipline. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Relevant internship, co-op, research, or project experience in semiconductor engineering is an advantage. Basic knowledge of electronics fundamentals, circuit analysis, and semiconductor devices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to learn semiconductor test, characterization, qualification, and manufacturing processes. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Key Responsibilities Support yield and cost improvement initiatives through data collection, analysis, and execution of assigned engineering activities. Monitor product yield, test performance, and manufacturing trends to identify opportunities for improvement. Assist in product characterization, validation, and correlation activities for new products and product changes. Support qualification activities related to new materials, process changes, test hardware upgrades, and manufacturing improvements. Analyze engineering and manufacturing data and prepare reports, summaries, and presentations to support technical reviews and decision making. Assist in root cause investigations and failure analysis for yield, quality, and customer-related issues. Support test program optimization activities, including test time reduction and throughput improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Test Product Engineering, Test Development Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Planning teams to execute assigned projects and action items. Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on yield improvement, cost reduction, and capacity gains. Track project actions, progress, and results to ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables. Learn and apply semiconductor products, test, and manufacturing concepts to support business and engineering objectives. Perform other engineering duties and assignments as required. For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
