Job Title Quality Assurance Engineering - Sr Professional I About your role: As a Quality Assurance Engineering - Sr Professional I, you will help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software products that support client and business needs. You will work closely with engineering, product, and cross-functional partners to identify defects, improve test coverage, and strengthen release readiness. Your work helps deliver stable, scalable solutions and improves the user experience. What you'll do: Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for software products and platform enhancements Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test data aligned to business and technical requirements Partner with software engineering and product teams to identify, document, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects Contribute to test automation efforts by creating and maintaining automated test scripts for repeatable quality validation Support Agile delivery processes by participating in backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives Apply quality assurance standards, testing methodologies, and release validation practices to improve product quality and reduce production risk Participate in peer reviews and recommend process improvements that increase test effectiveness, efficiency, and coverage Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary. Experience you'll need to have: 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including test planning, test execution, and defect management across the software development lifecycle. 2+ years of experience in automation testing using test automation frameworks, scripting, or comparable automated validation tools. 2+ years of experience in performance testing, including test execution, analysis, and issue identification for application performance and stability. 2+ years of experience working in Agile environments using sprint-based delivery practices and cross-functional collaboration. 1+ years of Fiserv systems experience. Experience using defect tracking, test management, and reporting tools to document results and support release readiness. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience. Experience that would be great to have: Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and workflows. Familiarity with security testing practices and secure software validation approaches. Knowledge of modern software development lifecycle practices across cloud-based or distributed systems. Certification in software testing methodologies or equivalent demonstrated experience. How you'll work: This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity. This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
