Job Title Quality Assurance Engineering - Sr Professional II About your role: As a Quality Assurance Engineering - Sr Professional II, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software products that support client and business needs. You will partner with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to identify defects, improve test strategy, and strengthen release readiness. Your work helps deliver stable, scalable solutions and improves the user experience across the software development lifecycle. What you'll do: Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for software products and application enhancements. Develop, maintain, and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and test data aligned to business requirements and technical specifications. Collaborate with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to identify, document, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects. Apply quality assurance methodologies, standards, and best practices to improve test coverage, release quality, and production readiness. Contribute to the development, maintenance, and execution of automated testing scripts for repeatable and efficient validation. Participate in Agile ceremonies, peer reviews, and continuous improvement activities to strengthen quality processes and delivery outcomes. Analyze test results, communicate findings, and provide clear recommendations to support timely issue resolution and informed release decisions. Experience you'll need to have: 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance across test planning, test execution, defect management, and release validation. 2+ years of experience in automation testing using automated test frameworks, scripting, or comparable quality engineering tools. 2+ years of experience in performance testing, including test execution, issue analysis, and validation of application stability and responsiveness. 2+ years of experience working in Agile environments with sprint-based delivery, backlog refinement, and cross-functional collaboration. 1+ years of Fiserv systems experience. Experience using test management, defect tracking, and reporting tools to support traceability and quality outcomes. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience. Experience that would be great to have: Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and automated build pipelines. Familiarity with security testing practices and secure software validation methods. Knowledge of software development lifecycle models across enterprise or distributed application environments Certification in software testing methodologies or equivalent demonstrated experience How you'll work: This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity. This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
