Job Description: Microchip Capacitive touch products include turnkey capacitive touch controllers, touch libraries for implementing touch sensing on most PIC®, AVR® and SAM microcontrollers (MCUs) and single-chip solutions for adding gesture recognition to almost any product. We offer solutions for every type of use case, from single buttons to touchpads and touchscreens to proximity detection and 3D gesture control for a huge assortment of consumer, industrial and automotive applications. Our team is involved in Firmware, Software & hardware development. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain web applications using React.js and Redux. Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable React components. Manage application state using Redux or Redux Toolkit. Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs. Work with server-side template frameworks such as FreeMarker Template Language (FTL) and Handlebars (HBS). Use open-source UI libraries and styling frameworks such as PrimeReact,Tailwind CSS. Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product teams. Convert business and technical requirements into functional software solutions. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Debug and resolve application issues and performance problems. Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards. Support application deployment and maintenance activities. Work with development and DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Docker. Explore and apply AI-assisted development tools and techniques where appropriate. Requirements/Qualifications: Required Skills and Qualifications B.E./B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. 1–3 years of experience in software development, preferably in frontend or full-stack application development. Good knowledge of JavaScript and modern JavaScript concepts. Hands-on experience with React.js, functional components, React Hooks, props, and state management. Practical experience with Redux or Redux Toolkit. Experience integrating and consuming RESTful APIs. Knowledge of template frameworks such as FTL and Handlebars (HBS). Experience with at least one open-source UI library or CSS framework, such as:PrimeReact Tailwind CSS Material UI Basic knowledge of Java and Python, including object-oriented programming and fundamental programming concepts. Good knowledge of AI concepts, AI-assisted development tools, and practical applications of AI in software development. Understanding of asynchronous JavaScript, promises, and API error handling. Fundamentals of data structures and algorithms. Familiarity with Git and version-control systems. Good debugging and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of TypeScript. Familiarity with Jenkins and basic CI/CD concepts. Basic experience with Docker and containerized applications. Experience with any testing library or framework, such as:Jest React Testing Library Cypress Understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and frontend test automation. Familiarity with npm, Yarn, or similar package managers. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Basic understanding of application deployment and monitoring processes.
