Job description

Job Location SINGAPORE GENERAL OFFICE Job Description SK-II is building something rare: a full in-house creative studio inside one of the world’s most iconic beauty brands. SK-II Studio originates the brand’s biggest work from campaign platforms, films, product launches, retail and spatial design. We’re hiring the person who makes that work land in culture. You’ll be the Studio’s first content creative: the one who knows what young consumers in Shanghai and Tokyo are watching, saving and sharing and turns that into strategies and ideas the whole team builds on. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with art directors, copywriters and brand managers, and your thinking will shape work seen across Asia and beyond. What you’ll do Own content strategy end to end on flagship campaigns from consumer insight to platform plan to the creative idea itself. Turn data, social listening and community signals into insight people can build from — one clear page, not forty. Concept alongside art directors and copywriters: formats, series, hooks and creator ideas that are native to each platform, not adapted to it. Live inside youth culture especially China (Douyin, RED, Bilibili, WeChat) with a sharp radar for Japan and bring the team what’s next before it’s obvious. Build content systems frameworks, formats, and playbooks that brand teams can scale far beyond any single campaign. Make the work better in the room: honest critique, sharp points of view, and briefs people want to answer. What you bring 5–8 years in creative agencies, social-first shops or production houses with content you strategized, helped make, and can prove worked. Deep, current fluency in Chinese social platforms and youth culture; professional Mandarin strongly preferred. A portfolio that shows both ends rigorous strategy and ideas that travelled with the numbers. Hands-on experience with creators and KOLs, and content made for at least three major platforms. The ability to turn messy data and research into one clear, compelling story. Low ego, high standards: you make designers, writers and brand partners better and you move without waiting for permission. Even better if You’ve worked on beauty, luxury or lifestyle brands. You’ve used AI tools in real content workflows and know where they help and where they don’t. You’ve seen the brand side as well as the agency side.
