Job Description: This position is a dual-function role, with the primary objective of serving as the Network Security Specialist for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Operating within the Network and Connectivity Product Service Line (PSL) team, the candidate will facilitate the deployment, management, and continuous optimization of the organization's network infrastructure and unified communication services. Additionally, the position is responsible for delivering on-site IT technical support to business stakeholders across Vietnam. The candidate will serve as the strategic bridge between local end-users and the global Digital operational team, enabling seamless adoption and optimal utilization of both legacy systems and emerging digital solutions. In the capacity of Site Relationship Manager (SRM), the incumbent will drive the execution of local Digital organizational strategies, oversee digital budget allocations for country entities, and act as the primary local liaison. This includes proactively managing stakeholder engagement, capturing functional demands, overseeing incident escalations, and advocating for the voice of the customer. Reporting directly to the Network & Connectivity Manager, the role assumes end-to-end governance of Connectivity service life cycles. Furthermore, the Network Security Specialist will collaborate with global product owners to standardize and harmonize end-user technologies across key APAC locations. Responsibilities Network Security Specialist (90%) As part of Connectivity PSL, to provide support in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable connectivity infrastructure, including on premise LAN, WAN, Network Security, Network Wireless, Network automation and Network monitoring technologies. The accountability on connectivity systems includes a highly complex ecosystem with 2 divisions / 11 countries and more than 45 sites connected with 3 datacenters. A global standardization and harmonization roadmap remains to be conducted. All systems being worldwide and interconnected, the Network Security Specialist will support all strategy and policies compliant with Airbus group and define APAC standards and apply them in a harmonized way to all entities. In this context, he will work closely with the central domain and PSL of each division to support strategies and roadmaps rollout To support Architects when developing technical roadmaps for Connectivity upgrades, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological advancements. To collaborate with cross-functional teams in APAC/Central to assess and address connectivity issues, ensuring timely resolution. To support PSL to oversee the build and run of Connectivity based on Cisco, Bluecoat and Palo Alto technologies. To support the APAC/Central CyberSecurity team in establishing and enforcing security protocols, policies, and procedures to safeguard system integrity and protect against cyber threats. This includes all CyberSecurity driven infrastructure deployments and enhancements in APAC. As Connectivity is a key lever in budget and customer satisfaction, to support PSL in continuous improvement, standardization and harmonization lever in APAC and Airbus group Other duties reasonably determined from time to time by the Company Proximity Support and Site Reliability Management (10%) PC deployment using Airbus standard master image. Patch testing, validation and deployment. IT proximity support to local and remote users with regards to endpoint devices including but not limited to desktop, laptop, software, IT peripheral, printers, IP Phones, video conference system and projectors/ screens. Provide IT technical support to users including installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting. Liaise with relevant vendors on purchase, repair and maintenance of computers and related IT peripherals. Maintain IT process documentation, knowledge based articles and user manual. RFQ and procurement for local IT related purchase. IT Asset & Inventory management. To pick up, resolve, update, close incidents and service requests tickets. To support IT problem management and Change Requests. To work with Digital APAC team on system implementation and support when required Provide familiarization training to business users in regards to IT tools, devices and services. Contribute to constantly improving service delivery, processes and procedures workflow. Responsible for Digital budget for his/her country, including forecasting, monitoring, optimization and reporting to leadership management Maintain productive relationship with internal customers (business stakeholders) Support the Business Relationship Manager on prioritizing and quantifying business value for all demands and projects relating to his/her country scope Represents Digital APAC as a point of contact for business in the event of incident escalation and business capabilities demand collection. Manage local Digital projects, including initiating, planning, executing, and closing Serve as an immediate advisory to business relating to Digital topics and interest Other duties as assigned. Contribute and collaborate with Digital or business stakeholders for project related activities if necessary. In-depth experience knowledge in the following areas: Local Area Network deployment and troubleshooting Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and Wifi technologies deployment and troubleshooting Cisco Catalyst Center and Cisco Software Defined Access deployment and troubleshooting Network Security technologies such as Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ASA/Firepower VPN gateways, Cisco ISE, Bluecoat proxy Knowledges in Network automation, scripting or programming High Availability and Disaster recovery Data Center networks Vendor management Experience with network monitoring tools, protocols (SNMP) troubleshooting techniques, and performance optimization. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
