Responsibilities Build and maintain high-quality scientific relationships with scientific experts and conduct effective scientific exchange aligned with brand strategy. Generate high-value field insights and translate them into actionable recommendations to strengthen strategy. Lead strategic medical projects and scientific programs through effective cross-functional collaboration. Mentor and coach fellow MSLs, contributing to MSL capability development and team effectiveness. Role-model Amgen Values and Leadership Attributes and ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures. Identify and support research and evidence-generation opportunities, including investigator-sponsored studies and Amgen-sponsored trials. Basic Qualifications Master’s degree in life-science or relevant area, equivalent education history. Relevant experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, or related pharmaceutical functions. Strong communication skills with scientific experts and internal stakeholders. Fluent in Japanese and English. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degrees (PhD, MD, or PharmD) preferred. Strong scientific expertise and experience in the relevant therapeutic area. Strong mentoring and coaching skills with demonstrated leadership. Ability to work independently and lead effectively across cross-functional teams. Experience in clin .
