Job Description SummaryTo strengthen our ultrasound probe engineering team in Zipf (Austria), we are looking for a Technical Project Manager – Product Lifecycle (f/m/d). In this role, you will lead strategic installed base and cost-out initiatives across the ultrasound probes portfolio, driving product reliability, change management, compliance, cost optimization, and continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle. Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities: Lead and drive cross-functional installed base and cost-out initiatives across the ultrasound probes organization. Lead root cause investigations for field and manufacturing issues, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions that improve product reliability and customer satisfaction. Evaluate and coordinate design changes, ensuring clear cross-functional alignment and timely execution. Assess the impact of product changes on product performance, patient safety, quality, reliability, cost, regulatory compliance, and the installed base. Provide technical recommendations and support risk-based decision-making for product lifecycle and installed base topics. Support compliance activities, external audits and quality initiatives by ensuring complete, audit-ready documentation and robust engineering practices. Drive standardization, operational excellence, and best-practice sharing across global engineering sites and cross-functional organizations. Collaborate closely within a global organization, including close alignment with cross-functional teams across multiple sites. Required Qualifications: University degree in engineering, technology or a related discipline Advanced experience in Engineering, Technology, Product Lifecycle Management, or Program Management. Proven organizational and project management skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to assess technical, quality, regulatory, and business impacts to support effective decision-making. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment. High level of ownership, accountability, and execution focus. Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills with the ability to build alignment across global and cross-functional teams. Fluent German and English, both written and spoken. Desired Qualifications Several years of experience in engineering, product lifecycle management, installed base support, technical program leadership, or a related field. Familiarity with ultrasound probes or similar electromechanical systems in a regulated industry Understanding of design controls and post-market surveillance Background in reliability engineering or field performance analysis What we offer: We offer a role specific compensation and a competitive salary and fringe benefit package reflecting your profile and experience. In Austria we are required to state the minimum pay. For this position, the annual compensation package starts at € 65.000. We will be pleased to discuss the appropriate effective salary based on your qualifications and experience.
