HR Advisor (Lubumbashi) Sandvik Mining and Construction DRC is a Sales Unit based in Lubumbashi, within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, a Business Area, a leading supplier of equipment and tools, service and support for the mining industry. We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Advisor to join our Human Resources team in Lubumbashi. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to both talent acquisition and payroll operations while supporting employee experience, HR administration, workforce reporting, and HR systems management. About the Role The Human Resources Advisor will coordinate recruitment activities, support onboarding, ensure accurate payroll processing, maintain HR records and reporting, and provide HR operational support across the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with managers, employees, Finance, and external service providers to ensure efficient and compliant HR service delivery. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities from approved vacancies through onboarding. Support candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and selection processes. Prepare and coordinate job advertisements and recruitment documentation. Maintain candidate databases and recruitment records. Participate in employer branding and talent attraction initiatives. Monitor recruitment metrics and vacancy progress. Payroll Coordination Coordinate monthly payroll preparation and validation. Review payroll inputs, employee movements, overtime, and timesheets. Support payroll reconciliation and variance analysis. Coordinate payroll reporting and respond to payroll-related queries. Liaise with Finance and payroll service providers to ensure accuracy and timely payroll processing. HR Administration Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. Process HR transactions and employee documentation. Support employee benefits administration and insurance processes. Coordinate onboarding and employee movement documentation. Support HR audits and compliance activities. HRIS & Reporting Maintain employee information within Workday or other HRIS platforms. Support organizational changes and HR data management. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual HR reports and analytics. Monitor and resolve HRIS exceptions and data-quality issues. What You Will Bring Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field. Additional HR, Payroll, or Talent Acquisition certifications will be an advantage. Technical Competencies End-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition. Payroll coordination and reconciliation. HR reporting and workforce analytics. Workday/HRIS administration. Employee records management. Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Knowledge of HR policies and procedures. Language Requirements Fluent French. Professional working proficiency in English. À propos du poste Le/la Conseiller(ère) RH sera chargé(e) de coordonner les activités de recrutement, d’accompagner l’intégration des nouveaux collaborateurs, de veiller à l’exactitude du traitement de la paie, de tenir à jour les dossiers et les reportings RH, et d’apporter un soutien opérationnel en matière de ressources humaines à l’ensemble de l’organisation. La personne retenue travaillera en étroite collaboration avec les responsables hiérarchiques, les collaborateurs, les équipes Finance ainsi qu’avec les prestataires de services externes afin de garantir une prestation RH efficace, conforme aux exigences légales et aux politiques de l’entreprise. Principales responsabilités Acquisition des talents et recrutement Coordonner l’ensemble du processus de recrutement, depuis l’approbation des postes vacants jusqu’à l’intégration des nouveaux collaborateurs. Participer à la recherche et à l’identification des candidats, au présélectionnèrent, à la coordination des entretiens et aux processus de sélection. Préparer et coordonner la publication des offres d’emploi ainsi que la documentation relative au recrutement. Tenir à jour les bases de données des candidats et les dossiers de recrutement. Participer aux initiatives liées à la marque employeur et à l’attraction des talents. Suivre les indicateurs de recrutement ainsi que l’état d’avancement des postes à pourvoir. Coordination de la paie Coordonner la préparation et la validation mensuelles de la paie. Vérifier les éléments variables de paie, les mouvements du personnel, les heures supplémentaire
