Join us and, together, we’ll advance your career. GLOBAL SENIOR PHYSICAL SECURITY MANAGER THE ROLE: At AMD, security is a critical enabler of innovation, operational resilience, and business growth. As the Global Senior Physical Security Manager, you will lead AMD's global physical security program, protecting employees, facilities, intellectual property, prototypes, and high-value assets across offices, laboratories, manufacturing environments, and other business operations worldwide. You will establish global security strategy, governance, and operating standards while leading a team of Regional Security Managers. This role provides the opportunity to shape enterprise-wide security programs, advance crisis and emergency response capabilities, strengthen GSOC operations, improve secure logistics, and drive measurable risk reduction across AMD's global footprint. You will collaborate with senior leaders across Legal, Human Resources, Facilities, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Product Security, Environmental Health & Safety, and other key functions to ensure security supports business objectives while maintaining resilience, compliance, and operational excellence. THE PERSON: The ideal candidate is a strategic security leader who can translate complex risks into practical business solutions. You are an experienced people leader with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions, cultures, and regions while driving accountability and operational excellence. You bring strong business acumen, sound judgment during critical incidents, and exceptional executive communication skills. You are equally comfortable developing long-term strategy, managing enterprise risk, improving operational performance, and leading teams through dynamic global security challenges. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and execute AMD's global physical security strategy, governance framework, standards, and annual priorities. Manage and develop Regional Security Managers while driving consistency, accountability, and operational excellence across global security programs. Oversee physical security operations for offices, laboratories, manufacturing environments, and other business locations worldwide. Lead crisis management, emergency response, executive escalation, and incident readiness programs. Advance the maturity and effectiveness of AMD's Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), including monitoring, intelligence, communications, and incident coordination. Direct global risk assessments, threat analysis, vulnerability management, and mitigation planning. Establish and govern global security policies, standards, SOPs, post orders, and control requirements. Oversee secure logistics programs protecting prototypes, intellectual property, and high-value assets throughout the supply chain. Manage security suppliers and service providers, ensuring performance, compliance, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement. Develop KPI, SLA, audit, and reporting programs that demonstrate security effectiveness and business value. Support acquisitions, new-site development, major business initiatives, and operational integrations through security planning and due diligence. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen security culture, training, awareness, and organizational resilience. Domestic and international travel required to support business operations, incident response, regional program reviews, and strategic initiatives. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Progressive leadership experience in corporate physical security with multi-regional or global responsibilities. Experience leading enterprise security operations, crisis management programs, GSOC functions, and distributed teams. Strong knowledge of physical security risk management, access control, video surveillance, alarm monitoring, investigations, and incident management. Experience developing global security policies, standards, metrics, executive reporting, and continuous improvement programs. Demonstrated success managing third-party security providers, service contracts, budgets, KPIs, and SLAs. Experience within semiconductor, advanced technology, R&D, manufacturing, or other high-value intellectual property environments. Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, secure logistics, executive protection, major events, or site expansions. Familiarity with global regulatory, privacy, labor, and compliance considerations impacting physical security operations. Experience leveraging analytics, automation, and modern security technologies to improve performance and situational awareness. ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, CISSP, CISM, CBCP, or equivalent security, risk, or business continuity credentials preferred.
