THE ROLE: We are seeking an experienced Government Contract Financial Project Manager to manage the technical scope and financial management of a strategic U.S. Government contract within our organization, along with a portfolio of smaller related programs. As a large, non-traditional defense contractor operating at the forefront of semiconductor innovation, we are looking for a hands-on leader who can bridge the unique requirements of government programs with the pace and rigor of commercial semiconductor development. THE PERSON: This is a high-visibility role that demands exceptional cross-functional leadership. The successful candidate will monitor and align cross-functional program execution across engineering, product, operations, supply chain, and security teams to ensure programs are completed within approved budgets and comply with corporate financial planning, forecasting, accounting, and reporting requirements. Your ability to build trusted relationships across the company, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders will be central to your success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the financial project manager for a strategic and active U.S. Government contract, owning the program budgets, financial tracking, and adherence to the company financial policies. Manage the financial accounting of additional smaller programs in parallel, balancing priorities and ensuring consistent financial tracking across multiple efforts. Partner with cross-functional program teams to monitor expenditures, forecast financial performance, and track progress against approved budgets. Build strong working relationships with functional leaders across engineering, product, operations, supply chain, and finance Provide periodic reporting on program health according to the program target metrics Develop and maintain detailed program financial plans and spend schedules Partner with engineering and product development team program management to align annual operating plan (AOP) budgets with program financial plans. Identify, mitigate, and escalate risks and issues in the financial performance of the programs Support business development efforts, including proposal development, capture strategy, and identification of follow-on opportunities. Manage subcontracts, suppliers, and partner relationships as required by the programs. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Strong financial management skills combined with technical understanding of engineering tasks and execution Experience in project management, with a demonstrated track record of financial management of U.S. Government contracts (DoD, IC, or other federal agencies). Experience managing programs within the commercial technology or semiconductor industry. Demonstrated experience working with large, cross-functional programs in a matrixed environment, including the ability to influence, align, and drive execution across teams that do not report directly to you. Experience managing multiple programs concurrently, with the ability to prioritize and shift focus across efforts of varying size and complexity. Strong working knowledge of U.S. Government contracting regulations (FAR/DFARS), contract types (FFP, CPFF, OTA, etc.), and compliance requirements. Ability and willingness to obtain Active U.S. Government security clearance required. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively from the working level up to executive leadership and government customers. Experience with non-traditional defense contracting vehicles such as Other Transaction Authorities (OTAs), CRADAs, or TIA programs. Familiarity with government program management best practices and integrated program management methods. Experience working with semiconductor fabrication, packaging, design, or related technologies. Active U.S. Government security clearance preferred. Must be a U.S. citizen. ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor's or Masters' degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical or business field PMP certification (Project Management Professional).
