Responsible for managing third party service providers for site services (hard). Ensure coordination and reporting of facilities subcontracted maintenance contract(s) activities such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc. Meet the team: The team at the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing facilities help assemble the finest aircraft in the world, along two (soon to be three) production lines for the A220 and A320 Family aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. Your challenges: Operational Services Management 40% Manage the day to day facilities responsibilities for the FAL including the functioning of building systems in support of business priorities and to meet or exceed KPI's & metrics Ensuring adherence of regulations of all applicable federal and local laws with respect to the position's scope of work Partner with external vendors to deliver in accordance with operational requests, anticipating the need when possible Ensure customer satisfaction at all levels in the organization; demonstrate leadership responsiveness and creativity Manage integration of FM technology platforms and processes across sites to ensure seamless delivery to customer and drive one-team mentality Work across the facilities team, both local and in the US, to support a one team approach to delivering services People Management 10% Responsible for assigned areas of site and applicable vendor management; including staff development (if applicable), staff succession planning, growth plans, actionable and measurable career development plans Engage in a proactive environment of teamwork, cooperation and transparency / lead a culture of continuous improvement Act as a role model across the organization with behaviors consistent with Airbus values Support individual performance management program, employee development planning process and provide coaching, leadership and guidance to employees (as applicable) Financial Results 20% Support in the preparation of facility budget(s) with customer goals and objectives addressed, variances and recovery process Work in cooperation with Finance and Procurement to ensure timely delivery of all services across the site, aligned with financial targets Work closely with customers to develop and implement innovative programs and processes that reduce short/long term operating cost efficiencies and increased productivity Compliance/Safety 25% Provide facility services in accordance with standard processes and procedures including application of policies, program requirements and coordination of information Support and manage portfolio wide initiatives and required local, state and federal laws and regulations that pertain to the facilities operation of the site Promote safety culture across site including with customer, staff, subcontractors, suppliers and vendors / Supports EHS program requirements Other Duties 5% Execute additional job duties as requested, including but not limited to cross function and cross division cooperation, information analysis and reporting. Your boarding pass: Bachelor’s degree preferred 5+ years Facilities Management progressive experience 3+ years in leadership roles Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Knowledge of current industry trends, best practices and technology. Specified focus on HVAC, plumbing or electrical preferred. Operational experience using SAP preferred. Knowledge and successful application of project management practices. Analytical and quantitative skills with proven ability to develop strategic solutions. Budgetary management is critical. Preferred Licensure/Certifications CMRP, CFM Working knowledge and application of OSHA, ISO, NFPA, ANSI and ADA standards required. General knowledge of FAA, EASA and ICAO Physical Requirements: Onsite or remote: 100 % Onsite Vision: Adequate to enter and read on computer screens. Hearing: Able to hear alarms, etc. Speaking: Ability to speak to high level management and give presentations (5%). Carrying: Able to occasionally carry up to 25lbs. Lifting: Able to occasionally lift up to 25lbs. Pushing/Pulling: Able to push/pull items up to 20lbs. Sitting: Able to sit for extended periods of time (40% - 50%). Squatting/Kneeling: Able to occasionally squat or kneel (10% - 20% of the time). Standing: Able to stand for extended periods of time (50%). Travel: Able to travel sometimes (10% - 20%).
