This position reports to: Service Manager __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of UPS systems and battery installations. You will diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring reliable and cost-effective solutions for our customers. Working in accordance with ABB policies, procedures, and safety standards, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of product quality and reliability. Leveraging your technical expertise and customer-focused approach, you will build strong relationships with customers and support the identification of new business opportunities. You will operate within ABB's established processes and quality standards, helping to deliver excellent service and customer satisfaction. The work model for the role is: onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification, Smart Power Business in Baden, Kanton Aargau. You will be mainly accountable for: Perform and coordinate repair and maintenance activities on UPS systems and battery installations, including fault diagnosis, testing, and inspections. Manage and maintain loan equipment and UPS modules. Ensure the proper maintenance and availability of tools, equipment, and testing facilities. Assist with inventory and warehouse management, including the procurement of spare parts and consumable materials. ​ Qualifications for the role Successfully completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering (Electrician, Electrical Installer, Electronics Technician, or equivalent). Proven experience working with UPS systems, battery installations, and power electronics. Fluent German language skills; English and Italian proficiency is considered a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
