Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC) is the fastest growing region in Amgen. Now we are hiring for a Senior Biopharmaceutical Sales Representative based in NSW North for Amgen Australia. Live What you will do Overview: Leads, plans, implements launch and annual brand strategy to maximize revenue, account and customer engagement results Maximizes brand potential at national level Executes Country Operating Plan, in alignment with Global TA strategy and brand plans Leadership and coordination of brand and CFT Key Responsibilities: Develops and implements territory POA and key account plans. Consistently exceeds POA. Conducts systematic, in-depth analysis of problems to anticipate in advance the best course of action to improve performance. Leads the Cluster/Territory team members, ensuring data is accurately recorded into CRM and is viewed as a role model by cluster teams members. Works with NSM and others to develop best practices. Disseminates an in-depth knowledge of how clinics and hospitals operate the differing roles of stakeholders and their differing needs in relation to the needs of Amgen. Anticipates & communicates competitive threats and opportunities. Take the lead in gathering competitive intelligence. Build long-term relationships by providing a high level of service and creatively managing customer requests, needs, and commitments. Report on customer activity in the CRM system and ensures customer profiles are kept up to date. Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of and effectively implements Amgen’s performance4. Mentors’ others on how to use Performance4. Demonstrates ability to access extra resources for projects from Head office. Is trusted by customers to develop creative ideas for meeting topics and formats and follow-up with customers. Is an agile learner; consistently seeking opportunities for professional and personal development Can leverage AI platforms to increase productivity and performance in role e.g.: Key Account Planning, Stakeholder Mapping and Clinical knowledge development Output: Sales targets POA Performance in accordance with job description and POA objectives Development of large, key, and high-potential territories and Key Accounts Internal sales role model- sharing of best practices; successful development of new reps; promotion/image of Amgen in line with Amgen Values Win What we expect of you Qualifications The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge, or the equivalent. Minimum Requirements Minimum of 10 or more years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a specialty sales related job. Experience with Computer Systems (CRM databases and MS Office) and leveraging AI platforms to be more efficient in role Strong verbal and written communication skills Advanced presentation skills Preferred Requirements Bachelor’s degree in life science or (bio) medical sciences In-depth industry and sales practices knowledge Detailed knowledge of and experience in a hospital environment (NB minimum requirement for hospital-based markets) Knowledge of Customer Relation Management principles Experience in interacting with various disciplines and organizational levels.
