The Field Applications Specialist (FAS) based in France for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible to provide excellent customer service to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments. Ideally based in West of France ( Brittany or Normandy) , you will be a part of the Field Applications Specialist Team and report to the Field Application Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: • Develop and build knowledge to understand the industry, the company, the products, tools, and the team. This is supported with a clear Development Pathway program as part our culture to develop and grow our teams. • Be supported by a strong leadership team, involved in keys projects to deliver successful installations for our Customers that meet their requirements and that of our company. • Provide excellent professional support and training to Beckman Coulter’s customers. • Maintain customer support logs and internal records in a timely manner, resolve issues to deliver a high-quality Customer Experience. • Develop commercial awareness through cross functional support of the business to increase growth opportunities and demonstrate to our Customers our pioneering innovation solutions and new products for the market. The essential requirements of the job include: • University Scientific degree + minimum 1 year of experience in chemical chemistry and immunoassays • Fluent in French and English. Third European language would be a strong plus. • Ability to interact with customers on a detailed scientific basis to ensure customer needs are fulfilled. • Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography, as well as periodic travel to other areas and overnight travel. • Ability to work flexible hours as per the business needs. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: • Requirement to travel within France to support customers using your technical expertise with overnight stays (up to 50%) as needed. • Hold a current valid driver’s license and good driving record. FAS operate independently within their geographic territory; however, we operate as a team to share standard methodologies, mentor and receive expert technical support. Le poste d' Ingénieur application produits basé en France - idéalement en Région Normandie/Bretagne - pour Beckman Coulter Diagnostics consiste à fournir un excellent service client lors de l’installation et de la maintenance d’instruments et de systèmes de diagnostic dans des hôpitaux et des laboratoires indépendants. Ce poste fait partie de l’équipe France de mise en œuvre. En tant que FAS, vous serez basé en France, soutenant nos clients locaux, et contribuant directement à la santé et au bien-être des patients. Dans ce rôle, vous aurez l’opportunité de : Développer vos connaissances pour comprendre l’industrie, l’entreprise, les produits, les outils et l’équipe.
