The PositionThe Opportunity As our Compliance & Safety, Health & Environment Specialist, you will play a central role in cultivating a culture of integrity and well-being across our Pharma and Diagnostics divisions in Hungary. You will drive key compliance processes, shape holistic employee health strategies, and modernize record management practices. Compliance (50%) Act as Compliance Specialist to shape a culture of ethics through training, awareness campaigns, and preventive risk mapping. Manage EFPIA transparency disclosures, consent collection, grievance management, and process simplification. Oversee conflicts of interest processes and utilize AI-driven tracking tools to eliminate manual data entry. Adapt global regulations to domestic policies, manage data privacy administration, and update risk registers. Partner with the Roche Services & Solutions (RSS) compliance monitoring group and support the local 1T initiative. Safety, Health, Environment (~40%) Serve as OneRoche SHE Specialist across Pharma and Diagnostics, updating local policies and managing global reporting. Design and execute holistic employee health, mental well-being strategies, and non-mandatory medical services. Direct annual occupational health exams, mandatory labor safety trainings, case inspections, and workplace accident administration. Oversee SHE purchase orders in alignment with global directives and maintain safety standards across all locations. Collaborate with regional/global SHE networks and RSS to eliminate operational silos and optimize resource flexibility. Record Management (~10%) Formulate and maintain a modernized record management strategy focused on lean, redundant-free workflows. Adopt AI and automated lifecycle tools to streamline record-keeping, compliance purging, and monitoring. Update local retention schedules, conduct routine vulnerability assessments, and execute systematic documentation purging. Deliver staff training on document creation, retention, archiving, and compliant storage tools. Guide the team on retention policies and assist with physical and digital archive management. Other Apply specialized functional expertise to support affiliate objectives and act as a trusted best-practice advisor. Participate actively in cross-functional, local, and global project teams to drive strategic targets. Formulate innovative solutions for complex issues while taking end-to-end process ownership. Leverage international networks efficiently to optimize operational outcomes. Stay current on all relevant guidelines while proactively managing intricate organizational processes. Who You Are: You are a proactive, tech-savvy professional who thrives on building trust, simplifying processes, and creating a safe, ethical workplace. Higher education degree in business, public/social administration, or a related field. 2+ years of professional experience in compliance, SHE (safety, health, environment), or a related administrative discipline. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with a track record of translating goals into practical plans.
