In this vital role you will be supporting the Vice President and leadership team in managing the function’s priorities, planning, and day-to-day operations. The role helps keep high-priority work on track, connects activity across teams, and brings structure and follow-through to key initiatives. Responsibilities: Manage priority projects and cross-functional workstreams. Track key priorities, milestones, decisions, and follow-up actions. Coordinate leadership team meetings, agendas, materials, and follow-through. Support annual planning, goal setting, budget management, and team operating rhythms. Develop executive-ready updates and materials for the Vice President. Help connect work across Corporate Communications teams and resolve dependencies. Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve team effectiveness. Lead special projects and other priorities on behalf of the Vice President. Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree and 2 years of communications, project management, business operations, or related experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of communications, project management, business operations, or related experience OR Associate’s degree and 8 years of communications, project management, business operations, or related experience OR High school diploma / GED and 10 years of communications, project management, business operations, or related experience Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, communications operations, project management, or a related field Experience supporting a senior leader or leadership team in a complex organization Experience managing multiple projects, timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to organize complex work, establish clear plans, and drive projects through completion Experience working across teams and functions to coordinate work and resolve issues Strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and collaboration/project management tools Strong project management skills, including developing workplans, managing timelines, tracking decisions and dependencies, and coordinating stakeholders Ability to synthesize information and translate it into clear, concise communications, presentations, and leadership materials Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information Ability to anticipate needs, identify gaps, and bring structure to ambiguous or evolving work Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work effectively with colleagues at all levels Experience improving team processes, operating rhythms, workflows, and ways of working Experience with communications planning, internal or external communications, or corporate affairs preferred Experience in a global, matrixed organization and/or biopharmaceutical or healthcare industry preferred What you can expect from usAs we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for your professional and personal growth and well-being. The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
