JOB DESCRIPTION:JOB DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES: The Sr. Manager OEC will provide advice and counsel on matters of compliance and ethical business practices. Primary Job Function Abbott is currently seeking an experienced professional to drive deployment of complex elements of Abbott’s compliance program for Nutrition division for India. Key job requirements include: Work quickly to understand Abbott nutrition business structure, practices, Compliance policies and procedures to provide policy and documentation advice. Support business initiatives, projects and strategic activities through compliance reviews and recommendations. Provide timely and practical compliance advice to business stakeholders on policy and process requirements. Risk Assessment and Mitigation Development and implementation of compliance monitoring plan, identifying compliance risk areas and action plans to address risk. Conduct compliance risk assessment to identify potential risk areas and drive implementation of appropriate risk management programs Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations (e.g., local healthcare laws, patient privacy regulations, anti-bribery/anti-corruption laws, industry codes). Conduct periodic reviews and updates related to complex OEC policy and divisional/affiliate procedures ensuring clarity, applicability and compliance to OEC policy and external requirements Managing Corporate Audit and external audit requirements. Contribute to Quarterly Compliance meetings with dash boards for appropriate report outs. Data Privacy Work closely with cross functional teams like Global Privacy office, legal, IT review of compliance with and implementation of required controls for compliance with data privacy and DPDP related requirements. Understanding of dealing with Data subject requests Ability to devise training plans and conduct Data Privacy training and craft communications around the data privacy related elements. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Skill, Education, Experience Required Education / Experience Lawyer/CA with previous experience in a Compliance Role of a multinational Healthcare Company or in a consultancy supporting Healthcare projects (Ability to understand the unique positioning of Nutrition deliver at a quick pace looking to the evolving landscape) Ideally the candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of related professional experience including some pharmaceutical or health care compliance program experience as either a member of a multinational compliance team, consultant, or outside counsel. KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS: Managerial: Team Management experience is not mandatory. Can be an individual contributor. However, strong stakeholder management experience necessary. Ability to drive discussions and establish proactive preventive controls based on strong data analytics Ability to balance compliance requirements with commercial objectives. Functional/ Technical: Demonstrated understanding of Indian compliance landscape, relevant laws, industry codes and practices. Working knowledge of Data Privacy management including DPDP and implementation practices of required controls Demonstrated problem-solving skills Stakeholder Collaboration & Strong communication skills Strong Analytical skills including proficiency excel, PBI, working knowledge of SAP Strong communication skills Evidence of leading by example and no matter what level, ideally experience of working in a highly matrixed organization. The base pay for this position is N/AIn specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
