Job Description SummaryThe Service Sales Leader owns service contract revenue for GE HealthCare across Australia and New Zealand. The role leads the Service Contracts team and directs how resources are deployed to meet commercial growth objectives — building offerings that are both competitive and profitable, and making sure every customer interaction strengthens the relationship. Job DescriptionResponsibilities Leadership Deliver or exceed quarterly and annual revenue and profit targets across all service contract revenue streams. Set the vision and the commercial and operational tactics that build a strong Service Contracts team across product modalities. Partner with the Pricing Specialist, Service Segment Leaders and Commercial Service Leader to shape service contract offerings that are profitable and market-competitive. Act as the escalation point for pricing approvals on maintenance Service Agreements and point-of-sale service quotes included in equipment deals. Work with the Service Segment Leader team to drive promotional activities and initiatives, and measure their performance. Work closely with the On-Demand Service Sales Leader to ensure customers are presented with the best service solution. Lead and contribute to local, regional and global initiatives that improve culture, quality and velocity for customers and front-line teams. Customer Experience Manage relationships with key customers to deepen understanding of their challenges and needs. Ensure customer issues and enquiries are prioritised and resolved. Lead collaboration with the Sales team on customer communication, escalations and through-life support opportunities. Drive a customer-first approach with peers across Service, functional teams and Sales Leadership to resolve issues and win future install base. Operations Rigor Ensure the team maintains accurate customer records, profiles, account records and interaction history in GE HealthCare CRM tools. Run regular funnel reviews with the Service Sales team to pace service contract revenue and unblock issues. Produce reporting, presentations and data that give clear visibility of progress against monthly, quarterly and annual targets, and contribute insights at business reviews. Lead initiatives and implement tools and processes that improve the speed and quality of customer response. Team Leadership and Development Coach and manage individuals to drive accountability, ownership and progress against goals — unlocking potential and contributing to their ongoing growth. Set team objectives and allocate work through effective workforce design. Provide coaching, training and development that lifts the team’s commercial, selling, negotiation and communication skills. Own the relationship, training and deliverables of the third-party back-office ‘Pre-Sales’ admin team. Compliance Create and drive a culture of safety and compliance in the Service Contracts team. Quality Specific Goals: Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position. Complete all planned Quality and Compliance training within the defined deadlines. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required. Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare HIPPA Guidelines, NEMA Regulations, etc.) and operates within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int’l Law is broken. Knowledge and understanding of all Environmental Health Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare EHS Policies, GE Healthcare Fleet Rules, etc.) and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Int’l Law is broken. Ownership of order and configuration quality at the point of entry to ensure accuracy, configuration integrity and that all requirements are tied to documented customer inputs. Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System. Responsible for 100% compliance on teams EHS goals and metrics. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance or a health-related field. • Minimum 3 years leading teams in commercial, service or marketing leadership roles. Strong commercial acumen with a proven record of meeting revenue targets, and a solid grasp of value drivers, strategic alignment and financial fundamentals. Highly developed communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to influence and lead without authority in a matrix organisation. Unrestricted right to work in Australia or New Zealand, and willingness to travel as required. Desired Characteristics Comprehensive knowledge of the healthcare marketplace; a healthcare sales background is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, demonstrated with practical examples. Proven ability to energise, develop and build rapport at all levels of an organisation.
