Job Title: Quality Engineer – (Product & Customer Quality) Job Summary The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring products, processes, and systems meet customer, regulatory, and company quality requirements. The role leads quality improvement initiatives, investigates quality issues, drives corrective and preventive actions, supports audits, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Support and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO9001 & and regulatory requirements. Candidates should demonstrate hands-on experience with:ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Customer-specific requirements Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) FMEA & Control Plan Lead and support CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) investigations, root cause analysis, and effectiveness checks. Perform and participate in Internal Audits, Supplier Audits, Customer Audit and support external regulatory audits (ISO9001, notified bodies). Participate in risk management activities (ISO 14971), including hazard analysis, FMEA, and risk control implementation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs) for new product development and process validation. Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards. Handle non-conformance reports (NCR) and lead investigations for product or process deviations. Support New Product Introduction and product transfers. Review quality planning deliverables. Drive supplier quality management, including qualification, monitoring, and performance evaluation. Analyze quality data and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma). Participate in, PFMEA, Control Plan development, Process Validation, First Article Inspection (FAI), PPAP Activities. Monitor and analyze Quality Metric and Trend (PPM, FPY, Scrap, Customer Complaints, COPQ (Cost for Poor Quality), CAPA Closure rate. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial), or related field. 3–8 years of experience in quality engineering within the Electronics Manufacturing, Semiconductor, Automotive, Aerospace, High Mix and Low Mix production exposure. Strong working knowledge of:ISO 9001 ISO 14971 (Risk Management) GMP requirements Experience with CAPA, audits, validation, and document control systems. Familiarity with statistical tools and quality methodologies (SPC, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Certification such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt will added advantage Experience with electronic QMS systems Experience in supplier quality management.
