Job Location MUMBAI GENERAL OFFICE Job Description This is a 6-month internship program. During this period, you may be aligned to one of the roles outlined below, based on business requirements, your skills, and overall fit. Information Technology Intern (Software Engineering) Overview At Procter & Gamble, IT is at the core of how we innovate, make decisions, and deliver impact at scale. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will help design, build, and ship applications on our Data & Analytics Platform, learning modern Agile and DevOps practices while contributing to real, global projects. You will work alongside experienced full-stack engineers to develop cloud-native solutions, gaining hands-on exposure to the full software development lifecycle. What You’ll Do Contribute to writing and testing code for Data & Analytics applications Support building end-to-end cloud-native (Azure) solutions Learn and apply modern software engineering practices (CI/CD, Agile, DevOps) Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product teams to deliver features Help translate designs into clear, detailed low-level documentation What We’re Looking For Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience Foundational programming skills in Java and/or TypeScript Understanding of relational databases and basic SQL Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills A desire to produce high-quality software through testing, code reviews, and teamwork Preferred Skills (not mandatory) Exposure to Spring Framework and/or React Familiarity with Azure Cloud services, Python, or Angular Understanding of version control (Git) and CI/CD concepts Experience contributing to team projects or technical documentation What You’ll Gain Hands-on experience building real applications from Day 1 Mentorship from experienced full-stack engineers Exposure to modern cloud and DevOps toolchains A chance to work in multinational, cross-functional teams Why Join Us We produce globally recognized brands and build leaders across functions. Information Technology Intern (Platform Engineering) Overview At Procter & Gamble, IT is at the core of how we innovate, make decisions, and deliver impact at scale. As a Platform Engineering Intern, you will help build, maintain, and optimize our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and overall DevOps practices. You will learn Infrastructure as Code and containerization while supporting the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our applications and services on high-impact global projects. What You’ll Do Support designing and managing scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) Help build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery and testing Learn containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes Assist with monitoring, logging, and alerting to keep platforms reliable Collaborate with development teams to embed DevOps practices across the lifecycle What We’re Looking For Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field Foundational understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) Basic scripting skills in Python and/or Bash Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication and collaboration skills Preferred Skills (not mandatory) Exposure to Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes Understanding of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) Awareness of monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor) Interest in Agile methodologies What You’ll Gain Hands-on experience with modern cloud and DevOps tooling Mentorship from experienced platform and DevOps engineers Exposure to Infrastructure as Code and container orchestration A chance to deliver high-impact, global platform projects Why Join Us We produce globally recognized brands and build leaders across functions. Information Technology Intern (AI Engineering) Overview At Procter & Gamble, IT is at the core of how we innovate, make decisions, and deliver impact at scale. As an AI Engineering Intern, you will help ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our production AI/ML systems. Blending software engineering principles with operations, you will support building scalable, observable solutions on Azure while collaborating with development and operations teams on automation and optimization. What You’ll Do Support maintaining production systems for high availability and reliability Help build monitoring and observability dashboards and alerts for system health Contribute to automation solutions for routine operational tasks Assist in developing and maintaining automated tests for production systems Support production deployments and change management for minimal downtime What We’re Looking For Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Understanding of cloud computing concepts, particularly Microsoft Azure Intermediate Python programming skills Strong problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication in English Preferred Skills (not mandatory) Exposure to AI/ML products such as Azure Machine Learning and Databricks Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and logging implementation Experience with source control (GitHub), pull request reviews, and static analysis (e.g., SonarQube) Interest in writing tests with Pytest What You’ll Gain Hands-on experience with production AI/ML systems from Day 1 Mentorship from experienced SRE and AI engineers Exposure to modern MLOps, monitoring, and automation tools A chance to work at the intersection of AI, reliability, and engineering Why Join Us We produce globally recognized brands and build leaders across functions. Information Technology Intern (Data Science / Data Engineering) Overview At Procter & Gamble, IT is at the core of how we innovate, make decisions, and deliver impact at scale. As an Intern, you will work on real business problems using data — whether that involves building scalable data pipelines or developing advanced analytical and machine learning models. Depending on business needs and your strengths, you may work in either a Data Engineering or Data Science capacity — both roles collaborate closely to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
