The PositionJob Summary: The BA Head will have both strategic and tactical responsibility for planning, marketing, sales and distributor management in China. Accountable for building and aggressively driving the operation. Have full Near Patient Care profit and loss responsibilities for Near Patient Care. Main Tasks & Responsibilities: Act as key interface with Regional/Global Marketing Groups to obtain resources from the Headquarters. Manage product launch processes and ensuring all the milestones are me Represent the company on BA related matters to interact with its business partners and key customers. Manage and monitor (directly and indirectly) the effective operation of the sales, marketing, and customer service. Coach and support staff development to build a high performing team Drive and be accountable for the succession planning for the critical roles and leadership positions to ensure talent pipeline is sufficient. Develop and execute strategies covering effective management of distributors, own sales force, the Near Patient Care channels, product and marketing support, supply, pricing and ensuring products sold in China comply to local regulatory requirements. Define and determine market opportunities, product positioning and service initiatives while closely monitoring competitors’ and related industry trends. Identifying emerging/future business developments. Identify, establish and/or manage distributors, alliance partners and/or critical business relationships to achieve optimal business growth and goal achievement. Other projects or tasks assigned by line manager Conduct business in full compliance including but not limited to Roche Secure, Roche Behavior in Business, Roche Competition Law Interactive Dialogues, Roche Safety, Security Health and Environmental Protection Understand and fulfill the responsibility of line manager's SHE tasks and duties (as defined in SHE handbook) Education& Qualifications: Bachelor degree, preferred in a science / medical related discipline. Postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA will be an asset. Fluent Chinese Mandarin and English-speaking skill Experience: A minimum of 12 years of progressive career experience in sales and marketing management with a major multinational pharmaceutical / medical devices company where a sophisticated operating system is in place. Experience in In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD)/Healthcare industry is preferred but not a prerequisite.
