JOB DETAILS: Location: Markham, Ontario, Canada Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time 37.5 hrs a week, either in a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term. Duration: 12 Months: May 03, 2027 to April 21, 2028 16 Months: May 03, 2027 to August 18, 2028 WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: We are seeking highly motivated Analog & Mixed-Signal Engineering Interns/Co-ops to join our engineering teams. In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers on the development, analysis, verification, testing, and automation of advanced analog and mixed-signal technologies used in industry-leading semiconductor products. In this role - Support the design, analysis, verification, testing, and validation of analog and mixed-signal semiconductor technologies. Use industry-standard EDA/CAD tools to analyze, optimize, and verify circuit and layout designs. Develop and enhance software scripts, automation tools, and workflows using programming and scripting languages to improve engineering productivity and design quality. Collect, organize, analyze, and present technical data, test results, and engineering findings. Investigate technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with engineers to develop solutions. Work closely with cross-functional and global engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field at a Canadian university. Strong interest or exposure with analog, mixed-signal, semiconductor, or integrated circuit design. Fundamental understanding of electronics, including transistors, resistors, capacitors, logic gates, and circuit analysis concepts. Familiarity or exposure or understanding of Semiconductor devices, microelectronics, or VLSI design. Transistor-level circuit analysis and layout. Programming or scripting in Python, C, C++, Perl, Tcl, SKILL, Shell scripting, or similar languages. Laboratory testing and characterization using oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, function generators, or related equipment.
