JOB SUMMARY Functions to improve efficiency and increase profitability of manufacturing processes and systems throughout the organization. Participates in continuous improvement, process development, root cause analysis and systematic problem solving. Performs technical work to assist in overall process design and, provide procedural recommendations to optimize quality and maximize productivity of manufacturing processes and systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assists in the execution of global process improvement initiatives, and integration of innovative manufacturing methodologies; balances process integration and minimize changeover downtime. Provide resourceful input on cost reduction and minimization of machine generated scrap. Ensure that process parameters are within acceptable tolerances for products and components, and result in applicable quality requirements and standards. Coordinate line reconfigurations and machine move activities, including equipment arrival, positioning and installation, and scheduling of support groups. Participates in open communication and exchange of information with Operations, site level Manufacturing Engineering professionals, and management. Demonstrate a good understanding of LEAN Six Sigma and actively promote the core principles throughout the organization. Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor. Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy. · May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Your responsibilities: Assists in the implementation of global process improvement initiatives and the integration of innovative manufacturing methodology; It balances process integration and minimizes change time. Makes creative suggestions to reduce costs and minimize waste generated on machinestag. Ensures that process parameters are within acceptable tolerances for products and components and meet the relevant quality requirements and standards. Coordinates the reconfiguration of production lines and the relocation of machinery, including the arrival of equipment, Positioning and installation and support schedule. Participates in open communication and exchange of information with Operations, management and experts for manufacturing engineering at the local plant. Demonstrates a good understanding of the LEAN Six Sigma methodology and actively promotes the fundamental principles throughout the organization. Complies with all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and instructions from the superior. It adheres to all procedures within the company's security policy.
