Position Summary The Customer Technology Lead – International defines and leads the strategy for customer-facing business technology that strengthens strategic customer partnerships and creates competitive differentiation across international markets outside the US. Acting as the bridge between Commercial, International Strategic Partnerships, IT, enabling technology teams, and strategic customers, the role translates customer business needs into scalable technology-enabled solutions across customer connectivity, automation, APIs, digital integration, and enterprise business platforms. Key Responsibilities Customer Technology Strategy & Roadmap Define and own the International Customer Technology strategy and roadmap Identify and prioritize scalable use cases across Order-to-Cash, logistics, inventory visibility, master data, procurement connectivity, and related workflows Customer Connectivity & Business Integration Lead customer connectivity through APIs, automation, digital integration, and scalable business platforms Enable stronger business integration with hospitals, hospital groups, health systems, procurement organizations, GPOs, and other strategic customers Governance, Standardization & Prioritization Establish governance, prioritization, and decision-making for customer technology initiatives across international markets Drive standardization and avoid fragmented local solutions through reusable platforms, templates, and integration approaches Cross-Functional, Technology & Customer Partnership Leadership Serve as a sparring partner for enabling technology teams, helping shape and enable early-stage technology adoption with key hospitals Help shape the internal organization’s vision around customer connectivity by bringing customer needs, business value, and partnership opportunities into upstream technology discussions Key Deliverables International Customer Technology roadmap Governance framework for customer connectivity initiatives API and business integration strategy Standardized customer connectivity approach across international markets Technology-enabled value propositions for strategic customer partnerships Required Experience Commercial experience within MedTech, healthcare, or a comparable B2B environment Strong understanding of hospital business processes and customer operations Knowledge of APIs, ERP integration, CRM, and enterprise business platforms Proven cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management across business and technology teams Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.
