Role SummaryThe National Sales Manager is responsible for actively contributing to commercial strategy and ensuring strong in-field execution to achieve the strategic sales goals of J&J Saudi Arabia. The role leads sales planning, people management, field coaching, stakeholder engagement, and close cross-functional collaboration with marketing and other internal functions. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a strong MCPoA to maximize market output and ensure effective in-field execution. Conduct proactive and systematic market and competitor analysis to support sales target achievement and adjust field tactics as needed. Manage and control the departmental budget, ensuring expenditure remains aligned with the business plan. Train and develop the sales unit according to market requirements and company Credo values. Build stronger customer channel relationships to support company strategies, including segmentation, targeting, dual visits, customer assessments, and relationship development. Continuously scan the market for upcoming changes to ensure organizational readiness and improve sales team performance. Protect and develop the business by responding effectively to changes in the healthcare environment. Partner with internal stakeholders including Distribution Management, Product Management, and the Business Unit Director to ensure strong market feedback and smooth business processes. Implement launch plans for new products by partnering with key stakeholders and influencers to create medical buy-in and market penetration. Lead the team through change, cultivating teamwork across local and departmental teams to achieve targets and metrics. Identify and develop talent through clear development plans and contribute to strengthening the J&J talent pool. Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders to facilitate sales across all channels. Follow J&J Fleet Safety policies and procedures. Comply with local laws, HCC guidelines, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and the Policy on Business Conduct. Report adverse events and product quality complaints in line with J&J Pharmacovigilance guidelines. Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Pharmacy. Minimum of seven years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including experience across at least three different roles. Understanding of the local market is preferred. Strong performance track record. Fluency in English is required. Customer-centric mindset. Ability to plan and prioritize work on a weekly and monthly basis for reporting purposes and to meet quality standards and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
