The PositionAs a Medical Value Lead, you will serve as a trusted, scientifically grounded partner within our customer engagement model. You will build and maintain deep connections with key external stakeholders to optimize medical practice, accelerate our pipeline, and ensure Roche remains a preferred healthcare partner across core disease areas. Your Responsibilities Proactively drive medical strategy: Shape and execute the local medical strategy to communicate a scientifically sound, differentiated value story across the asset lifecycle. Engage key scientific partners: Build peer-to-peer relationships with Top Academic Experts (TAEs) and healthcare professionals, dedicating substantial in-field time to non-promotional scientific exchanges and collaborative partnerships. Translate clinical insights: Systematically gather and analyze field-based insights—including patient perspectives—to inform cross-functional disease strategy and clinical gap analysis. Deliver scientific education: Provide high-quality medical education, support internal team capability building, and lead scientific advisory boards to advance clinical confidence and practice adoption. Support clinical research & access: Partner with Clinical Operations and Regulatory teams on study site engagement, health authority exchanges, and local trial feasibility to accelerate pipeline delivery. Ensure data integrity: Serve as a custodian of medical and competitor data, upholding rigorous scientific standards, ethics, and human-in-the-loop validation for digital and medical information inquiries. Who You Are You are an empathetic, scientifically curious partner who thrives in cross-functional environments and is passionate about translating complex data into meaningful health outcomes. Advanced Scientific Education: You hold a completed degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Natural Sciences (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent). Medical Affairs Expertise: You bring solid experience within Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, or a related clinical role within a specific therapeutic domain. Communication & Engagement: You possess strong, assertive communication skills with a proven ability to engage in peer-to-peer scientific dialogue with external clinical leaders. Strategic & Digital Acumen: You demonstrate strategic thinking, adapt comfortably to digital tools, and understand the importance of human oversight when utilizing AI-derived scientific content. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required for global collaboration, alongside fluency in Arabic to effectively engage with local healthcare ecosystems.
