Our Advocacy team is central to this mission - empowering our users through engaging content, meaningful interactions, and genuine advocacy. We're looking for a Designer Advocate to partner closely with our Marketing, Sales, and Product teams. You'll bring deep design expertise, strong product intuition, and a genuine love for the design community into our go-to-market strategies. You'll also champion our users' voices internally, ensuring their perspectives shape our product evolution. This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs. What you’ll do at Figma: Collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Experience teams to help customers unlock the full potential of Figma across real product workflows Develop written, visual, and video resources that reflect how modern teams actually design and build, from early exploration to production-ready systems Foster meaningful relationships within the Figma community, identify collaboration opportunities, and nurture user-driven initiatives Regularly present at industry meetups, conferences, and community events, sharing practical insights from real-world design work Stay attuned to community feedback, sentiment, and emerging design trends, advocating internally to inform product decisions and improvements We'd love to hear from you if you have: Bring deep, hands-on expertise in Figma, modern product and visual design workflows, and design systems, with a strong understanding of how design translates into development Have experience working within cross-functional product teams, collaborating closely with engineers and other partners to bring ideas from exploration through to polished outcomes Are comfortable navigating evolving workflows and technologies, including design systems, tokens, AI-assisted design, and prototyping Are passionate about the design community and are a clear, compelling communicator who can explain complex concepts and confidently engage audiences through public speaking Have an entrepreneurial mindset, thrive in dynamic environments, and are comfortable traveling up to 25% of the time to connect with our community in person At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go.
